With those new responsibilities, TV One Senior Vice President Lisabeth Hayes in Chicago and Vice President Jeff Tyrrell in New York will add responsibilities for the network's sales operations.

Bowen said "advertisers responded positively" to "our early efforts to market Radio One's assets on a cross-platform basis--and that interest has only increased with the company's ... acquisition of major social network sites including blackplanet.com."

Bowen joined TV One in 2003 from Turner, where he was senior vice president of TBS and TNT sales. He joined Turner in 1989 as an account executive for CNN and Headline News.
