NBC Digital Entertainment on Tuesday announced the promotion of Emre Celik to vice president of technology. Celik previously served as the technical director of NBC.com.
Based in Los
Angeles, Celik will continue to oversee all technical development and support for NBC Digital Entertainment, which includes managing vendor relationships, internal development teams and tech support
for all of NBC's digital entertainment efforts including editorial, video and social networking platforms as well as widgets and mobile.
Previously, Celik held a digital entertainment position
at Bravo. Prior to joining NBC Universal, he served as a developer at Hearst Digital.--Gavin O'Malley
