Harley-Davidson's first-ever Women Riders Month in May will be a series of events, including the 3rd Annual International Female Ride Day on May 1.
Harley will stage rides in New
York City and Milwaukee with dealerships, subsidiaries and suppliers worldwide planning rides in their areas.
The Milwaukee company is also encouraging women to learn to ride via either the
Harley-Davidson Rider's Edge New Rider Course or the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic RiderCourse training program.
The company is backing a Guinness World Record attempt for the number of
women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend during the first weekend of May.
Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties.--Karl Greenberg
