Aprilia USA is launching a test-ride program on March 2 at Bike Week in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The Venice, Italy-based motorcycle division of Piaggio Group will let licensed and properly attired riders take bikes for an hour-and-a-half. Riders can sample and swap new 2009 models.

After Daytona, the Aprilia Adventure series will travel to select major motorcycle events around the country. Piaggio Group acquired Aprilia in 2004.--Karl Greenberg
