• The Revolving Door Turns Again At WCVB Boston
The revolving door continues to turn at WCVB Channel 5 in Boston. SportCenter 5's long-time co-anchor, Mike Dowling, announced Tuesday that his last broadcast will be on Feb. 21. Dowling, who has been with the ABC affiliate for 28 years, didn't announce any immediate plans other than stating he was looking forward to spending more time with his family. Bud was crowned winner of the Brand Bowl's Twitter competition last Sunday.

The ads reportedly began running last weekend on Greater Media's rock station WBOS (92.9) and its R&B sibling, WBQT (96.9).

Boston.com named the Twittersphere winners of its sixth annual "Brand Bowl" Super Bowl ad contest, where viewers were able to tweet reactions to the ads as they aired. Not surprising, Budweiser's 'Puppy Love' was the hands-down favorite in terms of both positive feedback and the volume of tweets it generated. Sex sells -- but puppies and ponies sell more, people.
