  • CHRISTINE OLDENBROOK has been named vice president of audience marketing for Primedia business magazines & media. She had been at 101communications LLC, where she held the same position.

  • DANIEL LOVINGER has been named senior vice president of integrated sales of Primedia's Business-to-Business Group. He was last at Phase2Media, where he was the executive vice president of sales and operations.

  • GAIL DAY has been named publisher of Forbes FYI, and will oversee all aspects of advertising sales and marketing. She had been senior vice president and publisher of Playboy magazine.

  • LANCE WILLIAMS has been appointed Sales Manager of the Silver Team for Continental Television Sales (CTS) in Chicago. Prior to joining Continental, Mr. Williams worked in radio sales in Lafayette, LA.

  • ARTIE ALTMAN has been named Executive Vice President of Millennium Sales & Marketing's newly created Sinclair Division. He joins Millennium Sales & Marketing from WPIX in New York.

  • Boston Media Corporation announced that CHRISTOPHER FLEMING, has been named Marketing Manager for Shoxygen Sports Marketing. Previously, Fleming worked as a media planner for Carat Freeman of Carat Worldwide. JESSICA BENOIT, has been named Conference Manager of iGamingWorld 2002, Boston Media's online gaming event. Prior to joining Boston Media, Benoit worked as Corporate Events Manager for ArsDigita Corporation.

  • PAUL MILLER has been named Account Director of Blue Diesel, an interactive agency in Columbus, OH. Miller comes from Standard Register in Dayton, OH and spent five years with Ernst & Young in consulting and management roles. Blue Diesel has also hired NICOLE MAURUS as an Account Executive. Maurus comes to Blue Diesel from Sapient, in Chicago.

  • Wink Communications, Inc. announced the addition of three industry veterans to its Eastern Region and National sales and distribution teams. PETER KRANZLER has been appointed Vice President of Eastern Ad Sales, JOHN GEE is now Vice President of Sales and Strategic Account Management and GREG REGIS assumes the role of Vice President of Programming Sales & Account Management. Kranzler brings more than 25 years of sales and management experience to Wink, Gee brings broad experience to Wink with nearly two decades of sales management experience in broadcast television, syndication and new media advertising sales, and Regis joins Wink with a wealth of successful sales and management experience with NBCi, ESPN/ABC, and Grey Advertising.

    HEADLINERS THIS WEEK:

    KRISTINE SCHILLER has been named senior vice president of Advertising Sales at Premier Retail Networks (PRN). Most recently, she was vice president, Sales for Studio One Networks.

    BRYAN HACKMYER joins Winstar Interactive Media as Regional Sales Manager in New York. Hackmyer had been Northeast Account Manager for TheGlobe for the past year.

    WALLY BUCHLEITNER has been named the head of the advertising sales effort in the Southeast market for Mutual Funds magazine. He had been associate publisher at Newsweek and vice president and director of advertising sales at U.S. News and World Report.

    DANIEL RILEY has been named Detroit advertising director at People magazine. He had been senior account manager & Canadian advertising manager for the publications at The National Geographic Society.

    TOM BRENNAN has been named senior account executive in the New York office of out-of-home company Green Light Worldwide Media Inc. He last worked in sales promotion for national and food and drug manufacturers at FrontLine Marketing and PromoWorks. Also at Green Light, TOM ANSEL has been appointed vice president and regional sales manager in the company's West Coast office, along with GREGG MORTON, who becomes account executive. Ansel had been general ad sales manager for Multivision Cable's Northern California Region for eleven years. Morton has served many years in sales and management positions. In another Green Light move, DAN BERNADEL has been brought on as senior account executive for the Southeast region. He last worked on the launch of electronic out-of- home network PortVision in New York.

    GoTo.com, Inc., soon to be Overture Services, Inc., announced the addition of two senior level executives to oversee the advertiser business group and marketing functions. LISA MORITA, who joined GoTo in April 2001, serves as senior vice president and general manager of GoTo's online business and marketing and is responsible for managing the company's extensive online business. DAVID KARNSTEDT, who joined the company in September 2001, serves as senior vice president and general manager of GoTo's direct business and is responsible for leading the company's direction for medium and larger advertisers including product, sales and account management as well as developing strategic alliances.

    GARY A. FOWLER has been named Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Mirantis, Inc. Fowler has over 18 years of international experience in sales and marketing management.
