  • SUSAN C. HUNYOR is joining BusinessWeek as Account Manager in the Birmingham, Michigan sales office. She had been Account Manager for Fortune Small Business covering the same territory.

  • Fraser Wallace Advertising promoted CHRISTINE MALLOY and SUSAN ACKMAN to Vice President. Malloy had previously served as one of the agency's Directors of Account Service, while Ackman was Director of Finance.

  • DEBBIE SMITH has been named West Coast Regional Vice President of Sales at Advantage Marketing Systems, Inc. Smith is experienced in the direct sales and network marketing industry.

  • JASON BINGHAM has been promoted to Advertising Director of Wake Boarding magazine. Bingham had served as advertising sales manager since joining the company six years ago.

  • AARON ASHE has been named to the newly created position of Political Sales Manager at National Cable Communications. Ashe previously served as Sales Manager of the Washington, D.C. office. BOB WARE, who joined NCC in September with a solid history in spot cable, has been promoted to Sales Manager.

  • RON D. FORD has been named Chief Executive Officer of Media Arts Group Inc. He most recently served as President of Onecoast Network, Inc.

  • ARTISTdirect Records has added two veteran sales executives to its team -- JASON WHITTINGTON as Vice President, Sales, and JEFF GRABOW as Vice President, Field Marketing. Whittington spent ten years at Geffen Records where he rose from a regional sales manager to Head of Sales. Most recently, Whittington was Head of Sales at Beyond Music. Grabow had recently been Vice President, Sales and Field Marketing at Red Ant Entertainment, and Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Production at Restless Records.

  • KENNY CASSADY, formerly a regional VP at media distribution company DG Systems, is now the C.O.O. at Brian’s Mondo Business in Santa Monica, better known as Ear to Ear, AudioBanks and 186.

  • KEVIN HOLOWICKI has been promoted to Director, Media Strategy for GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals. Formerly, Holowicki was previously Senior Manager, Media Planning for GSK.
