  • Responsys, Inc., a leading provider of online channel management solutions for Global 2000 enterprises, has announced the appointment of LESTER WUNDERMAN to its board of advisors. Wunderman is a consultant, professor, author, founder and Chairman Emeritus of Wunderman, one of the largest integrated marketing solutions companies in the world, delivering customer relationship management services through more than 80 offices with 4,000 employees in over 40 countries. He is considered a founding father of the Direct Marketing industry, credited with naming and defining the professional discipline of "Direct Marketing" and leading the theoretical and practical growth of the industry.

  • AOL Time Warner Inc. has named MICHAEL LYNTON to the newly-created post of President of International Efforts and an executive vice president of AOL Time Warner. Lynton will work to further develop the company's international growth strategy through cross-divisional collaboration and the integration of international initiatives, alliances, acquisitions and investments, when appropriate, the media and communications company said in a press release Thursday. Lynton is currently president of AOL International, and will continue to lead the organization and its operations in Asia, Latin America and Europe.

  • Digital watermarking firm Digimarc Corp. announced today that Digimarc CEO BRUCE DAVIS has been elected Chairman of the Board. Davis replaces Philip J. Monego, who was appointed Digimarc Chairman shortly after the company's founding six years ago. Monego announced his intention to retire at last year's shareholders meeting. He will remain a member of the Digimarc Board of Directors and will continue to serve on both the Compensation and Audit Committees. Bruce Davis has served as Digimarc's CEO and director since December 1997.

  • Pay-for-performance advertising network Commission Junction has hired ELIZABETH CHOLAWSKY to the post of vice president of marketing and product development. Cholawsky's role is to define the strategic direction of Commission Junction's product offering and insure that the company's product development maintains a strong market focus and business purpose. Cholawsky was most recently vice president of marketing at Clarent Corporation, where she leveraged the company's traditional network-focused voice-over IP product line into revenue-generating services for local exchange carriers.
