  • OMD USA has hired the former President-CEO of Raycom Sports to be Managing Director of the Omnicom Group media firm. RAY WARREN will oversee all of OMD's broadcast capabilities as well as its sports marketing and entertainment units. He replaces Dan Rank, who joined Universal Television Networks in November 2002. Warren joined Raycom Sports in 1988 as Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing after having been Vice President of ABC News Sales.

  • CNN News Group Chairman WALTER ISAACSON has announced his resignation. He will be replaced by company President/COO Jim Walton. Isaacson is leaving in the spring to become President/CEO of The Aspen Institute, a think tank headquartered in Washington, D.C. Prior to CNN, Isaacson had held a number of high-level jobs at Time Inc., including Editorial Director, and had a successful stint as Managing Editor of Time magazine.
