  • Initiative Media has hired two executives, MICHAEL DI CLEMENTE (left) and ANDREA MCATEER (right), for their New York office. As Executive Vice President, Group Account Directors in the client service department, Di Clemente and McAteer will oversee account management for a number of key Initiative clients, including Bayer, Nestle Purina, Pennzoil-Quaker State and Victoria's Secret. Prior to joining Initiative, Di Clemente served as vice president, associate media director for RJ Palmer. Prior to joining Initiative, McAteer served for three years as managing partner, account director at Mediaedge:cia. Additionally, the agency has promoted research executive JOHN MOSSAWIR to Senior Vice President, Director of Strategic Development from Vice President, Associate Director.

  • ANDREW SHARP has joined Universal McCann Worldwide in the newly created post of Executive Vice President, Director of Communications Accountability. Sharp will focus on looking for ways that increase the return to a brand for a given communication investment. Sharp, with over 25 years experience as a communications and planning professional, comes from MAGNA Global, Universal McCann’s chief negotiating unit, where he served as SVP, Director of Media Industry Analysis.

  • The Chicago office of Draft has added SARAH WILCOX as Senior Vice President, Group Account Director. Wilcox joins Draft from Wilcox Consulting Group, Inc., a management consulting firm, where she was a Founding Partner. In her new position, Wilcox will work on developing new and current accounts, with a particular emphasis on the agency's healthcare business.

  • RISA ARONSON, Advertising Manager for W Magazine, will join New York Magazine as Advertising Director. Prior to her three years at W, Aronson served as Consumer Products Manager for Mademoiselle and Account Manager at Shape. Aronson also spent four years as a Media Planner with three of NYC's top advertising agencies, most recently J. Walter Thompson. Aronson replaces GINGER SUTTON who left New York Magazine in July to join Cargo, the men's shopping magazine.

  • Search engine marketing firm iCrossing has added the following people to their New York City staff. JOHN P. TIERNEY as Regional Director, SARA HOLOUBEK, Chief Strategy Officer, and KRISTA BRADY, Media Manager. Tierney joined the company in August 2003 to manage regional business development and operations. Prior to iCrossing, Tierney spent five years at America Online, Inc., where he developed and implemented online marketing programs for Fortune 500 clients, as well as provided product management for various AOL service features. Holoubek will provide strategic support for clients. In addition, she will provide industry insight, research and strategy for future client marketing initiatives. Brady brings over 5 years of media buying and management to iCrossing. She previously worked at Monster, where she developed and managed online keyword plans and buys, and provided campaign analysis.

  • CHRIS ROBBhas joined PUSH as Creative Director/Partner and will oversee all creative work. Prior to joining PUSH, Robb was Senior Vice President and Creative Director at Publicis & Hal Riney He previously was Group Creative Director at Fallon Worldwide and Senior Vice President and Creative Director at BBDO West Los Angeles.

  • JAMIA BIGALOW has been named Director of Affiliate Marketing for NFL Network. Bigalow will create affiliate campaigns and promotions supporting channel distribution and programming. She will also oversee promotions in strategic markets; provide sell-in support, manage print and on-air tactics, coordinate promotion logistics. Bigalow joins NFL Network from ABC Cable Networks Group in Burbank, California.

  • Emode has appointed media industry veteran STEVEN COMFORT as the company's new Vice President of Marketing and Sales. Comfort will be responsible for managing the company's marketing and communications strategy, as well as overseeing advertising sales, direct customer acquisition, public relations and customer service.

  • Telenor Mobile Interactive USA has named REAGAN RAMSEY (pictured) Executive Vice President of Media Development and appointed VANESSA VIGAR Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Ramsey will work with media companies, cable organizations and television networks to develop text messaging. Vigar will develop relationships with media partners and brand managers of consumer products to introduce premium text messaging campaigns. Prior to joining Telenor, Ramsey served as News Director for KGW-TV, the NBC news affiliate in Portland, Oregon. Vigar was Director of Sales and Marketing at Van Dusseldorp & Partners in the Netherlands, a digital media information and research company.

  • NAKEETA WILLS has been promoted to Research Manager with Continental Television Sales in New York. Wills will be responsible for sales research generated for the East and Southeast teams. Wills began her career in April 2001 as an Office Manager with Studios USA (Universal TV). Later that year, she joined Continental Television Sales in New York as a Research Analyst. In August 2003, Wills was promoted to Senior Research Analyst, her most recent position.

  • The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA) said SBCA President ANDY WRIGHT has resigned to pursue another opportunity. The SBCA Finance Committee, in conjunction with the SBCA Board of Directors, will begin the process to find Wright's permanent replacement.
