  • Media Planning Group (MPG), Havas' media agency, has appointed DON EPPERSON and IGNASI BIOSCA (pictured) as the new Global CEO and COO of Media Contacts, MPG’s interactive arm. Epperson joined MPG in May 2001 as the President of MPG’s Media Contacts U.S. operations upon the acquisition of HookMedia. He was Founder and President of Hook Media, a digital media and data services company that developed Artemis, Media Contacts’ global reporting and analysis platform. Biosca joined Media Contacts in 1999 within the corporate team as Vice President responsible for Product Development and Expansion. In summer 2000 he became Managing Director of Media Contacts Spain.

  • Fathom Online, a search engine marketing company specializing in keyword buying and campaign management, has named MATT MCMAHON as Vice President, Media Operations and Analytics. McMahon will be responsible for media planning, buying, research, and analytics. Previously, he was a Media Strategist at Leftfield and Media Director at Seven Ten Split and Miller/Huber where he managed accounts such as Bank of America, Cisco and Sprint on search marketing strategies.

  • JEFFREY SHIBATA has joined Horizon Media's West Coast Operation as a Media Planning Supervisor. Shibata will be responsible for overseeing the media planning for the agency’s IHOP, Sonic Automotive, Forest Lawn, Game Show Network and Factory 2-U accounts, among others. Shibata comes to Horizon from Mediacom, New York, where he was a Brand Media Manager, responsible for developing and executing national and local media objectives and strategies.

  • Paul Schultz Advertising has named NADINE EALES as Business Development Manager. Eales will be responsible for research, management and development of new business initiatives.

  • SCOTT STEPHEN has been appointed to the newly created position of Senior Division Vice President of Operations for the online division of Playboy Enterprises, Inc. Stephen will be responsible for managing subscription and e-commerce customer services. Prior to joining Playboy.com, he was Chief Operating Officer of Yesmail, Inc., an online relationship marketing company.

  • NetCreations, an email marketing solutions company, announced that JOHN TALIERICO will assume the post of Director of Client Services for its newly launched division SurveyDirect. Also joining the company is MARK GALLIHER as Account Manager for PostMasterDirect.

  • RICHARD CHAMBERLAIN (pictured) has been promoted to Senior Vice President/National Sales Manager for TBS Superstation and TNT. In his new position, Chamberlain will be responsible for overseeing the daily management of Turner’s national entertainment sales offices, including Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit and Los Angeles. Chamberlain previously served as senior vice president of Turner International Advertising Sales, a position he held since September 2002. Also at Turner, KARL KUECHENMEISTER, Cartoon Network’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, has announced his plans to retire. Kuechenmeister joined Turner in 1996.

  • LISA MURRAY has been hired as Marketing Director of Entrepreneur Media. Murray will be responsible for overseeing marketing initiatives for the sales team and implementing branding campaigns for Entrepreneur magazine, Entrepreneur.com and Entrepreneur Press. Prior to owning a marketing consulting business, Murray was Director of Marketing for CMP's flagship trade newsweekly, CRN.

  • LINDSAY RESNICK has joined Finelight Strategic Marketing Communications as Senior Vice President of Business Development. Prior to joining Finelight, Resnick was Chief Marketing Officer of HealthMarket, a Consumer Driven Health Plan.

  • Marquis Jet has hired LISA SENTERS as its Vice President of Sales. Senters previously served as a Senior Vice President at Blue Star Jets, where she was part of the founding team. At Marquis Jet, her responsibilities will include running her own territory with an emphasis on the casino world, the travel industry and the art world.
