  • Starcom USA, a full service media agency within Starcom MediaVest Group, has changed its executive management structure in the USA. As part of the reorganization, JOHN MUSZYNSKI has been elevated to managing director, investment and operations, and STEVEN FEULING has been hired to serve as chief marketing officer. Muszynski, formerly Starcom’s EVP/chief broadcast investment officer, oversees the management of national and local broadcast activities for Starcom’s entire roster of clients. Feuling joins Starcom from the Kmart Corporation, where he was senior vice president of marketing. During his Kmart stint, he served the corporation as CMO for its online division Bluelight.com.

  • GUY D. "DOC" HOLLIDAY, director of engineering and maintenance operations, has been named vice president, advertising sales at the New York Times. Holliday will be responsible for managing The Times' classified advertising sales, including the real estate and recruitment categories as well as the eastern national sales offices, health care, home furnishing manufacturers and packaged goods. Holliday has been director of engineering and maintenance operations for The New York Times since 2000, and from March 2003 to March 2004 he was on active military duty as a major in the United States Army.

  • Click Here has promoted PETE LERMA to principal. Lerma’s career started at advertising agency, DesignWorks, where he managed regional efforts for clients including Coca-Cola and Subway. Also at Click Here, EMMA COKER and ERIN PETTY were promoted to media directors.

  • CHRISTINE MERRIFIELD-WEHRLE has joined MediaVest New York as SVP, group director, overseeing the Paramount National Broadcast AOR. She succeeds OLIVER DIZON, who takes on a senior position in the sales planning group of ESPN. Merrifield-Wehrle will have direct management responsibilities for the NY-based national broadcast team dedicated to servicing the Paramount business. Most recently, Merrifield-Wehrle held a top post as senior vice president of national broadcast at MediaCom, where she oversaw the national buying AOR on GlaxoSmithKline, Panasonic and Smuckers. Prior to that, she was director of media sales at Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.

  • Sales promotion agency Einson Freeman has promoted TRACY DRELICH and KELSEY WOODS to senior account executive and account executive respectively. Drelich will focus on the Reynolds Wrap business. Drelich joined Einson in 2000 from ACG Communications, where she was a production management assistant. Woods will be working on LG Appliances and AT&T Wireless. She previously worked as assistant account executive on AT&T Wireless and ConAgra Snack Foods. Woods joined Einson Freeman in 2002 as a group assistant.

  • KELLY COLBERT, former VP of marketing at the IAB, has joined Y&R Advertising as VP, interactive strategy.

  • Tickle Inc., the company formerly known as Emode, named MARK PAPIA as vice president, alliances and corporate account development, responsible for expanding and overseeing Tickle’s strategic advertising relationships. Prior to joining Tickle, Papia spent five years at Yahoo! in strategic alliances and sales, overseeing relationships with major consumer brands such as Pepsi, Kraft, Marriott and others.

  • Technology Review, Inc., an MIT Enterprise, has promoted MATT MATTOX to vice president of business development. In this role, Mattox will oversee all new business opportunities for the media company. Prior to Technology Review, he was a launch director at idealab! where he was part of the formation of the predictive analytics media company, Compete, Inc.

  • Adlink has named JEFF WEISS as director of account planning. Weiss is charged with overseeing sales and marketing initiatives for Adlink on the client level. Most recently, he served as sales manager for the New York Telemundo affiliate WNJU. Prior to that, he held the position of EVP, director of sales at CBS Spot Sales where he oversaw 13 teams and 70 account executives.

  • MARK REINO, vice president of technology markets at Starmark International, has been appointed to the board of directors for the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association. Reino directs strategic communications initiatives and account services for Starmark’s roster of technology clients.

  • TMX, a digital communications agency, has added DON LINSENMANN to its Advisory Board. Linsenmann, vice president and corporate champion of Six Sigma, DuPont’s business improvement process, is responsible for the program’s global deployment. At TMX, he will assume the role of senior advisor and business development counselor.

  • RICHARD ROSEN has been named managing editor of Women's Wear Daily, and DIANNE POGODA has been named managing editor/special reports, a new position. Rosen joins Fairchild from Bloomberg News. In his new position, Rosen will oversee the day-to-day editorial operations of the newsroom. Pogoda has served as managing editor of WWD since 1999. She will play a role in managing the growing number of special reports, sections and magazine editions produced under the WWD banner.
