  • Mediaedge:cia has hired three executives to work on its recently won Paramount Pictures account. MARK MILLER joins as communications strategy director for Paramount Motion Pictures. He worked at BBDO West as vice president and associate media director on the MGM Theatrical account. DINA MAROVICH joins as communications strategy director for Paramount Home Entertainment. She most recently managed media planning for all Buena Vista Home Entertainment as assistant media director at Starcom Worldwide. Lastly, SANDE BOVIS was named managing partner, director national broadcast, and will run national broadcast for the Paramount Pictures account. Most recently she was senior vice president, associate director of national broadcast at Universal McCann.

  • RICHARD STODDART was named president of Leo Burnett USA. Stoddart returns to Burnett after spending the last 10 years at both Ford Motor Company and sister Publicis Groupe agency Fallon, based in Minneapolis. Since 2001, he has served as manager of marketing communications at Ford overseeing creative and media strategy and execution.

  • Longtime WB senior marketing executive SUZANNE KOLB has been appointed senior vice president, marketing for E! Networks. In her new role, Kolb will head up the creative services, advertising, strategic brand partnerships, on air promotions and design, as well as online marketing and promotions for E! Networks, including E!, The Style Network and E! Online. Most recently, Kolb served as executive vice president of marketing at The WB Television Networks, where she oversaw the network’s media planning, print advertising, integrated marketing, affiliate marketing, and Kids’ WB! marketing.

  • The Leslie Agency has promoted ROB GOOD to media director. Within his new role, Good will provide strategic media counsel for all Leslie Agency clients, and oversee media objectives and operations for the entire Leslie media department. Good joined The Leslie Agency in January 2002 as a media supervisor.

  • MTV Networks named LARRY DIVNEY president of MTV Networks ad sales. In addition, DOUG ROHRER was named executive vice president-senior advisor to Divney, focusing on emerging new media platforms. Divney will be responsible for managing the entire sales organization and its systems for all the company's cable television networks and online businesses, including MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, TV Land, CMT, Spike TV, and LOGO. Interestingly, Divney was MTV's first vice president of ad sales in 1981. Rohrer will be responsible for helping to create strategies for ad sales on the various digital platforms being developed by MTV Networks. Divney was part of the founding leadership team of Comedy Central when it launched in 1991, and was named CEO in 1999.

  • CBS has formed the CBS Marketing Group, a full-service marketing, advertising, and media organization. The group will be responsible for the strategic, creative, and media aspects of all marketing for CBS and UPN, as well as collaborating on marketing at King World, Paramount Television, Infinity Broadcasting, and Viacom Outdoor. To lead this expanded effort, GEORGE SCHWEITZER (pictured) has been promoted to president, CBS Marketing Group. Schweitzer has been the executive vice president, marketing and communications since 1994. In addition, RON SCALERA has been named executive vice president and creative director, responsible for all the creative aspects of our marketing efforts for the CBS Marketing Group. Scalera served as senior vice president for the past seven years. Lastly, ANNE O'GRADY was named executive vice president, marketing. She has been senior vice president, marketing since 1998, and joined CBS in 1989.

  • Avenue A | Razorfish has added COLIN KINSELLA as general manager of the San Francisco and Los Angeles offices, and MARK STEPHENS as general manager of the Chicago office. Most recently, Kinsella led marketing and new business development for QuinStreet, an online marketing services and technology company. Previously, Kinsella was executive vice president and member of the leadership team at Foote Cone & Belding FCB. Stephens joins Avenue A | Razorfish from Carat Interactive in San Francisco where he was vice president, media director/account director. While at Carat, Stephens led the Bank of America account.

  • LINDA NARBEY has joined MediaCom as senior vice president/group planning director on the ConAgra Refrigerated Frozen and Snack Foods accounts. Narbey comes to MediaCom from MPG Arnold Advertising in Boston where she was vice president account director.

  • WestWayne has made a bevy of recent hires and promotions. ABBY LANDIS was hired as an assistant media buyer on the Southeast Toyota Distributors account; NICK RIEGAL was promoted to media planner for the Russell Athletic, Florida’s Natural, and LandAmerica accounts; SUSANA SOLER was hired as an assistant media buyer working on the Southeast Toyota Distributors account; HOLDEN PENLEY was hired as an assistant media buyer; MARCIA OWENS-REDER was hired as the director of spot broadcast (media) for the Southeast Toyota Distributors account; DEVON JORDAN was hired as an account executive in the new business department; and TINA CHADWICK, an associate creative director, has been named a vice president and officer of the agency.

  • DAVID LYLE, most recently president of entertainment for FremantleMedia, has been selected to head up Fox’s upcoming Reality Channel. Previously, Lyle worked at Pearson Television, and before that, was a senior executive at Australia's Nine Network.

  • JENNIFER GAVIN, interactive account director for Draft Digital, TIMOTHY POUNANOV, director of database development for Data Technology Services, and IRENE TURNBULL, director of direct response data services in Data Technology Services, have all been named vice presidents at Draft. Gavin began her career at Draft in February 2001 as the first interactive member of what would later become Draft Digital Group. Pounanov has worked at Draft New York since 1995 when he was hired as a software developer. Turnbull came to Draft in 1997 as a business analyst.

  • Foote Cone & Belding, Worldwide has named RICH GAGNON worldwide president of FCB Media. Gagnon assumes this position in addition to his current role as director of FCB's media unit in New York. Gagnon will become a member of both FCB's global operating board and the Magna Global media board within Interpublic, of which FCB is an operating unit. Gagnon has been with FCB for nearly 20 years and has directed media efforts on a range of accounts, including Qwest, Nabisco, HP, Citibank and Colgate-Palmolive.

  • Promotional marketing agency Einson Freeman Inc. has named EDNA NISSAN KOMINSKY as account director, overseeing Einson’s Colgate, LG, Bayer, Kozy Shack, Alouette, and Plavix. Kominsky joins the agency from Citigroup, where she was most recently vice president, product manager for Citi Cards’ Upromise co-brand product.

  • CHRISTIAN GONZALEZ has been named director of sales for Hollywood Media Corporation’s Hollywood Media Network.

  • Giant magazine has named GREG WILLIAMS as editorial creative director. His primary responsibility will be the overall look of the publication. Most recently, Williams served as editor of Maxim, spearheading the launch of Maxim Fashion and Maxim Goes To The Movies.

  • Starmark International has promoted ANNEMARIE HEALY to marketing manager. She served as an assistant account manager since joining the company in February. In her new role, Healy will be responsible for all marketing communications related to Starmark, Dialog Custom Media, and for OmniPilot Software Inc., Starmark’s subsidiaries.

  • CHRISTINE CAHILL has joined TechTarget as director of list rentals. Cahill is responsible for managing e-mail and magazine list rental and developing new list rental products. Most recently, she was electronic product manager at International Data Group, where she oversaw all aspects of production. Concurrent with TechTarget’s acquisition of Bitpipe, Bitpipe CEO and co-founder JAY HABEGGER has joined the company as executive vice president, media products. Habegger is responsible for strategic direction and management of TechTarget’s portfolio of online advertising vehicles, including all products under TechTarget’s Bitpipe.com brand.

  • OnMilwaukee.com has hired STACY BLASIOLA as advertising account executive. Most recently, Blasiola was a sales representative for Equipment Sales Associates.

  • CoyneBeahmShouse Creative Brand Building has named PHILIP L. ZIESEMER, the company’s chief financial officer, a partner in the agency. Ziesemer has also been elected to the company’s board of directors, and will serve as treasurer.
