  • PAMELA KAUFMAN has been promoted to executive vice president, marketing and worldwide promotions, Nickelodeon. Formerly senior vice president, Nickelodeon marketing, Kaufman’s responsibilities now include domestic and international marketing for Nickelodeon as well as promotional partnerships for The N, Noggin, Gas and Nicktoons, the network's digital channels. She will now partner with Nickelodeon International to expand Nickelodeon's relationships with its domestic partners to include international channels. Prior to joining Nickelodeon, Kaufman was vice president, promotions, at Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., where she established the Promotions Group within TBS's Licensing and Merchandising division.

  • Winstar Interactive has hired JIM BRANDT as its Eastern regional sales manager. He replaces PAUL ROSTKOWSKI who left Winstar to join Hoovers.com. Brandt joins Winstar from Blue Sky Media where he has been vice president of East Coast sales since 2002. Prior to that, he was vice president of East Coast sales for Vivendi/Universal-MP3.com.

  • SID HOLT, executive vice president and editor-in-chief of VNU's Adweek Magazines unit, has been named editorial director of VNU Business Media, the operating unit that encompasses 52 trade publications, including Adweek, Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter, as well as their Web sites and electronic newsletters.

  • TACODA has named DAVID C. MARKOWITZ as its director of marketing, a newly created position. Markowitz is responsible for all aspects of marketing TACODA’s various solutions including Audience Management Service and the newly-launched AudienceMatch Network. Markowitz comes to TACODA from DataSynapse, where he was vice president, product marketing since 2002.

  • MediaVest will expand the communications planning team on its Procter & Gamble account with Starcom MediaVest Group’s hiring of KIMBERLY LYONS as innovation director. Separately, JEFFREY GRAHAM has joined MediaVest as research director on the P&G business, formerly a director at Dynamic Logic. Lyons comes to MediaVest from Revlon, where she served as integrated marketing and Internet manager.

  • Bigfoot Interactive has named MARY BETH KEELTY director of marketing, a newly created position, and JOE LAMPERTIUS as midwest regional manager. Keelty will be responsible for managing sales support, knowledge management and event planning. Keelty comes from Fujitsu Consulting, the North American services arm of Fujitsu. Lampertius will be responsible for servicing, growing and managing the company’s client base in the Midwest region. He comes from Valassis, where he served as director of business development and general manager for Valassis’ Hispanic division.

  • The NBC Agency Print Advertising department has promoted NANCY MCDYER, DAVID PAI-RITCHIE and STEVE KEMP on the West Coast as well as BARI COHEN and STAN SOUSA on the East Coast. McDyer has been advanced to vice president, print advertising account services. Pai-Ritchie has been named vice president, creative director, print & digital design. Kemp becomes vice president, creative director for advertising. Likewise, in the department’s East Coast group, Cohen has been promoted to executive creative director for design, and Sousa moves up to executive creative director for advertising.

  • Allied Domecq Spirits, North America, has named ROB WARREN as senior vice president, national accounts responsible for channel management, on- and off-premise chain accounts and military sales. Warren joins the company from Diageo, where he was vice president of consumer strategy and marketing since 2002.

  • The Republik has hired MIKE RANDALL as strategic coordinator, working on Consolidated Shoes and other accounts. Randall was previously account coordinator at Merkley & Partners, NY, where he worked on Smith Barney and BMW Motorcycles.

  • UnREAL Marketing Solutions has hired MARCELO PARRAVICINI and LAUREN FERST as senior account managers. Parravicini will work with clients including Dermablend, Kiehl's and SmartServ. Prior to UnREAL, he worked with Refinery Inc. as a search engine marketing consultant, establishing the company’s Search Engine Marketing practices. Ferst will work with Speedo, Mason Shoes and Sona Laser Centers. Most recently, Frest worked at May Company Bridal Group, where she managed its Internet marketing program and was responsible for Web site development and direct to consumer marketing.

  • SFGT, Philadelphia, has hired LARA DIPIAZZA as account supervisor, to handle the Tylenol account. DiPiazza was most recently account supervisor at BBDO, New York, working on DirecTV. She has also worked on M&Ms and Charles Schwab accounts.

  • PEGGY AUSTIN has been promoted to vice president of corporate relations, up from strategic marketing manager, at Danielle Ashley Communications.

  • MAUREEN SIMONELLI has joined Bauer Sales in Manhattan as its corporate research director. Previously, she worked at Medizine, Hearst and Gruner & Jahr.

  • Studiocom has tapped MICHAEL DRISCOLL to serve as communications manager for all public relations and marketing activities. Driscoll will oversee yearly communications planning and media relations for offices in Atlanta, Los Angeles and Bogotá, Columbia. Most recently, Driscoll was spokesman for Georgia’s Department of Human Resources’ Division of Family and Children Services as well as its Office of Information Technology.
