  • ERIC SIRY has been named creative director of Business 2.0magazine. Siry joins the magazine from Bon Appetit where he was a designer, responsible for creating feature layouts, section layouts, information graphics and special sections.


  • JERRY COURTNEY has been promoted to director of interactive and digital media at GSD&M, after serving as associate media director at the agency. Courtney will manage a group of digital media professionals. Prior to joining GSD&M he was a media planner at Campbell Mithun in Minneapolis.


  • SchoolSports Magazine has hired ASTOR CHAMBERS as East Coast advertising director. In this role, Chambers will be responsible for overseeing all ad partnerships within the east coast region. Prior to joiningSchoolSports Magazine, Chambers was brand director of Billionaire Boys Club/Ice Cream, a niche lifestyle clothing and footwear line.


  • COY CLEMENT and JAMES (JAMIE) CROUTHAMEL were added to PRIMIS Marketing Group's board of directors. Clement currently serves as the CEO of clementDIRECT and Crouthamel is the founder/former president & CEO of Performics.


  • Mansueto Ventures, LLC, the newly formed publishing venture that includes Inc. and Fast Company, has promoted MARK VAMOS from acting editor to editor of Fast Company. Vamos has been Fast Company's executive editor since 2003. Current deputy editor KEITH HAMMONDS is now assuming Vamos' former role, with WILL BOURNE, who has previously worked for Esquire, Fortune, and Details, joining as deputy editor.


  • CATHERINE (CATHY) LOPRESTI has joined the consumer products research division of Ipsos Insight as qualitative research consultant.


  • Arbitron Inc. has promoted BRAD KELLY to vice president of group sales. Kelly will oversee the Group Sales team efforts around the country. Kelly has been at Arbitron for 15 years. Most recently, he held the position of vice president of national radio sales.


  • TACODA has named CHRIS LITTLE as director of northwest sales. Little joins TACODA from ClickAgents Network, Inc., where he has been director of sales since 2001.


  • Imaginova Corp. has promoted ROBERT ROY BRITT to the post of managing editor of LiveScience.com. He will remain senior science writer for LiveScience's sister Web site SPACE.com, a role he assumed in 1999.


  • Blattner Brunner has recruited NATALIE WHITE PERKINS to serve as chief marketing officer. Most recently, as founder of White Perkins Consulting, Perkins advised 20 small- to mid-size agencies on marketing and new business.


  • Mediagedge:cia, part of WPP's media investment management company GroupM, has tapped JEFF KILLINGSWORTH to run its Los Angeles office as managing partner. Killingsworth will take charge of MEC's Paramount Pictures account. He comes to MEC after eight years at MGM/UA Studios where, as executive vice president media, he was responsible for developing, presenting and implementing media plans for every theatrical release from MGM and UA.


  • JOYCEANN SHIRER has been named as senior vice president, circulation marketing, Rodale Inc. Previously, Shirer was vice president, subscription circulation. Shirer replaces TOM SLATER, senior vice president, circulation marketing, who has left the company.


  • Spa Finder has named SALLIE FRAENKEL its chief operating officer. Fraenkel joined the company after 20 years as a senior marketing executive at the Showtime Networks, most recently as senior vice president of program enterprises and distribution. As COO, Fraenkel will spearhead the management of Spa Finder's marketing and media programs and will be responsible for the company's revenue streams.

  • Ipsos Insight has named DAVID NEMIAH as vice president, global equity and branding in the company's consumer products research division. Nemiah is a former director of brand research, strategy, and planning for consulting firms such as BrandLogic, Interbrand, Siegelgale, and McCann-Erickson Worldwide.


  • FreeCar Media has hired SHANNON FELDHEIM as its vice president of sales. For the past five years, Feldheim worked for MediaVest in Los Angeles, most recently as an assistant media director. Prior to MediaVest, she worked for Starcom in Chicago.


  • ANN MARIE RESNICK has been named vice president, marketing and promotion for Scholastic Book Clubs. Most recently, Resnick was vice president, marketing at Columbia House, where she developed marketing strategies and launched initiatives to streamline promotions for both print and online.


  • Meredith Corporation has named LISA BOOKWALTER director of corporate travel sales for the Meredith Publishing Group. Bookwalter joins the company from The New York Times, where she served as the managing director, transportation. Prior to that, Bookwalter served as the director of arts and entertainment advertising for The New York Observer.


  • DENISE GOUGH has joined the Scripps Networks as a director of legal affairs. Gough will work with HGTV and DIY Network on their production and talent agreements; work on licensing agreements for HGTV, Food Network, Fine Living and DIY programming; advise Great American Country (GAC) and HGTVPro.com on legal issues; and work with Scripps Networks' broadband and custom programming businesses. Prior to joining Scripps, Gough was at America Online, Inc. from 2000 to 2005, most recently as senior counsel.


  • Future Network USA has named IAN SINCLAIR as regional sales director of PC Gamer, Official Xbox Magazine, and PSM: 100% Independent PlayStation 2 Magazine. Sinclair will oversee the sales efforts for the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Midwest territories. Sinclair spent the last five years as the Eastern sales manager for Ziff Davis Media's Game Group.


  • HARLEY DEMBERT has been named destination marketing manager at Travel Ad Network and PEG SAMUEL has been named East Coast sales manager for the company.


  • InsightExpress has promoted STEPHEN JEPSON to senior manager of AdInsights and JULIANA ALOIA to manager of AdInsights, East Coast. Jepson will be responsible for the AdInsights East / West operations team, as well as key development initiatives. Aloia will be responsible for managing AdInsights operations on the East Coast.

  • Intégrent has opened a Dallas office and hired TYLER KELLY to run it. Kelly will serve as director of sales for the Southwest region. Most recently, he was Southwest manager for Forbes magazine.

  • Yahoo! has named PEGGY WHITE as general manager of Yahoo! Finance. In this role, she will be responsible for overseeing content and product development, partner relationships, and sales and advertising for Yahoo! Finance. White most recently served as vice president and general manager of Business Week Online, where she was responsible for all aspects of the Web site.
