  • STEVE MINUCCI has joined the Publishing Group of America as director of business development, a new role. He was formerly COO of the Wrenfield Group, the sports marketing division of Golf Digest.


  • Mansueto Ventures, the recently formed publishing venture that includes Inc. and Fast Company, promoted ED SUSSMAN to senior vice president of online operations and business development and hired CNBC veteran BRIAN ANDERSON as a vice president of business development. Sussman was formerly the managing director of Inc.com and Fastcompany.com.


  • Telmar Group has named CLARE O'NEIL as managing director and CEO of Telmar's South African operation. LISA BOTHA continues as president and director of Telmar South Africa and MARTIN URRY continues as technical director and director of the company. O'Neil was general manager of South Africa's largest TV broadcaster, SABC Television Airtime Sales, since 2001.


  • JEFF MCCLELLAND has been named CEO of Cliff Freeman & Partners, the agency’s first-ever CEO. McClelland was previously founder and chief integration officer of integratedBRAND, where he independently consulted with several Fortune 500 Companies in such industries as pharmaceutical, financial services, new product launches, and health and beauty aids.


  • PIC-TV has created a business development division. The new unit will be lead by DAVID HANSFIELD, vice president, business development, PIC-TV. BILL CROASDALE JR. has rejoined the company to work in the new department as account executive, business development. Joining Croasdale on the team will be JANET JIMENEZ, currently an account executive at PIC-TV.


  • KEITH LORIZIO has been namedgeneral manager of sales for MSN at Microsoft Corp. Most recently, he was vice president of sales at Yahoo.


  • Organic has named JAMES KIM as vice president of strategy. He was most recently vice president of marketing at Modem Media. Prior to that, Kim was group director of strategy at Organic's San Francisco office.


  • STEVE COX has joined Coremetrics as vice president of operations.


  • CURT HECHT has been named chief digital officer of GM Planworks, the full-service media agency dedicated to General Motors. Planworks' parent network Starcom MediaVest Group has also named him an executive vice president. He will directly manage GM Planworks key relationships with companies such as Yahoo, Google and AOL.


  • MICHAEL GRATZ has been appointed research director at AARP Publications. Gratz joins AARP Publications from WIRED Magazine, where he was marketing and research director.


  • MICHAEL DAVIS has been promoted to senior vice president, director of emerging mediaat Draft Chicago.


  • Wunderman has expanded the role of BECKY CHIDESTER to chief operating officer of Wunderman's New York office. In her expanded role, Chidester will be responsible for driving the operations of the business. In addition, TINA MILETICH was named managing director of Interactive. In this position, Miletich will be responsible for Wunderman New York's interactive strategy, design, development and technology.


  • JOE FAMALETTE has joined comScore as vice president of sales for the CPG marketing solutions group. He joined the company from MarketTools where he served as vice president of sales and new business development. Also, JOHN GOLANTY has been appointed vice president of client services, CPG marketing solutions. Most recently, he served as president of Conway/Milliken.


  • ALYSSA WEINBERG joined St. John & Partners as a media planner, servicing the firm's Clearwire account. She was most recently a media planner for GSD&M. In addition, SARAH CARTER has been hired as a media buying assistant on the agency's Ford, Zaxby's and Clearwire accounts.


  • SHERATON KALOURIA has been named president of television for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. Kalouria, who most recently served as NBC Universal’s senior vice president, daytime programs, will oversee MSLO’s television business segment. Kalouria will also spearhead all development efforts and oversee distribution of MSLO’s library, which contains more than 1,600 hours of programming.


  • Cramer-Krasselt has named MARSHALL ROSS chief creative officer, a first for the agency. Ross will continue to play a role in defining the agency’s standards, positioning and future growth and expansion. Ross has been with the agency for more than a decade.


  • MAJA MIJATOVIC has been promoted to director of national radio, up from manager of national radio, at Horizon Media. Mijatovic began her media career when she joined Horizon Media in 1998 as an assistant network radio buyer. In addition, SOOUN LEE has been promoted to account supervisor, up from account executive. Lee joined Horizon from J. Walter Thompson where she was a senior media planner.


  • DOUG HURST, senior vice president of affiliate marketing for Scripps Networks, has been appointed to manage video on demand operations. His title is now senior vice president Scripps networks on demand and affiliate marketing. Hurst will be involved in VOD content, distribution and operations.


  • MJ ANGIOLLO has joined the print and Internet services team at Scarborough Research as account director, and BARBARA QUISENBERRY has been promoted to director of account management. Angiollo comes to Scarborough from the San-Antonio Express News where she was research manager. Quisenberry has been with Scarborough for five years, coming to Scarborough from The Dallas Morning News where she served as research director.


  • Beliefnet has appointed GORDON GOVENS as vice president of interactive media and business affairs.Prior to Beliefnet, Gordon was vice president of business development at Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM), the league's online arm.


  • BitPass has named DOUGLAS S. KNOPPER, formerly senior vice president and general manager at DoubleClick, as CEO. Prior to DoubleClick, he oversaw advertising campaigns for brands and products at Lowe and Partners, TBWA/Chiat Day and J. Walter Thompson.


  • SEAMUS FITZPATRICK was named sales manager for Adams Outdoor Advertising. Fitzpatrick was previously managing director for The New York Times and director of client development for Harris Interactive.


  • Cronin and Company has named TOM BRADLEY as vice president, executive director of public relations. Bradley will oversee PR operations, provide strategic counsel to agency clients, and spearhead PR business development and agency promotion. Prior to joining Cronin, Bradley served as vice president, director of public relations for Mintz & Hoke.


  • Accipiter Solutions has hired LOU SEVERINE as director of northeast sales.


  • ROBIN GARFIELD has joined the Scripps Networks research department in the newly created position of vice president, sales research and strategy. She joins Scripps after 10 years with NBC Cable Networks where she served as vice president of strategic operations and research for MSNBC and vice president of research for MSNBC.
