  • TACODA has hired CHRISTOPHER POLOS as vice president, inside advertising sales. Most recently he was director, business development, real-time publishing services at VeriSign.


  • Saatchi & Saatchi LA has promoted CHUCK MAGUY to group idea management director. He will be co-leader of the Toyota account. He most recently served as communications planning director.


  • AARON REITKOPF has been namedgroup president of kirshenbaum bond + partners, responsible for integrating all kbp companies, including kirshenbaum bond, media buying agency The Media Kitchen, LIME public relations + promotion, interactive agency Dotglu, and WhiteSpace. Reitkopf will work with each company President to integrate and synchronize the work of the company's 225 employees. He joined kbp in 1997 and has served as president, kirshenbaum bond since 2004.


  • CHRISTINE COOK has been named vp internet ad sales at Marthastewart.com. She previously served as the head of ad sales at IAC Ad Solutions.


  • DEVIN KANALEY has joined the WhitePages.com team as an account executive managing the Southeast territory. Previously, Kanaley spent more than six years at Advertising.com.


  • JANE MATTHEWS and CICI KELLY have both been named vice president/director of business development at WestWayne. Kelly will spearhead external business initiatives and Matthews will manage the pitch process.


  • TONY CALIANESE, a consultant and former managing director of Advertising Age’s digital publishing group, has been named publisher of AdForum.com.


  • DAVE RANDELL has been named executive director for the Meredith Experiential Group, a new business unit at Meredith.


  • FRANCESCA MINERVA has been named executive director of special markets, trade books, for Rodale. Minerva will manage sales of Rodale books and DVD's into specialty retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and organizations, including business-to-business corporate and premium sales.


  • NAN RUBIN and MARYANNE DE PRESCO have joined Kelliher Samets Volk as senior brand managers. Rubin joins the agency from Hearst Magazines where she was senior marketing director for the Hearst Group’s Corporate Sales & Marketing department. De Presco comes to KSV from Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide where she was senior partner, management supervisor for American Express Travelers Cheques & Prepaid Services.


  • JOHN STEVENSON has been named publisher of TIME For Kids, responsible for all business aspects of TIME for Kids including advertising sales, consumer marketing and licensing. Stevenson comes to TIME from In Style, where he has been director of consumer marketing.


  • FERNANDO ROMERO was promoted to vice president, advertising sales, digital media, up from director of interactive sales at fuse. He is charged with driving ad sales growth and revenue to fuse's digital platforms, including mobile, on Demand and online.


  • STEVE LERCH has joined Time Inc. Business and Finance Network as sales manager, responsible for the Minneapolis territory. Previously, Lerch was vp manager, print media at Campbell Mithun.


  • MICHELLE A. ROSSOW has been named senior vice president and LORETTA CZARNOMSKI, DARRELL F. DAWSEY, DAMON D. HENRY, ANTHONY G. KAUSE, JASON J. LUKZ and THERESA A. THOMAS have been named vice presidents at Campbell-Ewald.


  • HOWARD MANUS has joined CNNMoney.com as vice president of marketing and operations. Manus will be responsible for overseeing sales development and ad operations. Previously, he worked for BusinessWeek for more than 13 years, most recently as its web site's vice president of operations.


  • Sesame Workshop has promoted CELIA SCHNEIDERMAN to manager, international television distribution. Schneiderman was recently international television distribution coordinator where she oversaw details of the Workshop's participation at international television trade shows including MIPCOM, MIPTV, NATPE, LA Screenings and Asia TV Forum.


  • P.J. BOATWRIGHT was promoted to associate publisher, sales development at Time Inc. Business & Finance Network. In addition, LAURA REGALADO joins the TIBFN Detroit office as a sales manager; DEBORAH SCHALM as senior manager, sales development and SUMMER PENNEY will serve as a senior manager on the sales development team.


  • DOUG RYAN has joined Energy BBDO as global client service director, to oversee the expanded relationship with Beam Global Spirits and Wine. Ryan joins the agency from Y&R Chicago where he was chief marketing officer and managing partner.


  • Former NFL MVP running back MARSHALL FAULK has joined NFL Network as a weeknight analyst for NFL Total Access.


  • WONGDOODY has hired MAUREEN CRONIN as director of broadcast buying, a newly created position. Prior to WONGDOODY, Cronin was vice president, client services supervisor at LCI/Sedgwick Rd., where she supervised national media buying for accounts including Washington Mutual, the Washington State Department of Health, Jiffy Lube and Converse.


  • Saatchi & Saatchi LA has hired TARA STEPHENS as design communications director. Stephens was previously client managing director for Landor Associates.


  • Fuse has named MATTHEW MCALPIN vice president of strategic programming and scheduling. Prior to fuse, McAlpin was director of program scheduling at Comedy Central.


  • CurtCoMedia has named KENNY WOOTON to the position of executive editor of ShowBoats International. Wooton spent 11 years at Yachting magazine, most recently as editor-in-chief.


  • Oodle, a search engine for local classifieds, has named former Knight Ridder publishing executive LEM LLOYD as vice president of sales and business development. Lloyd will be charged with growing traffic and usage to Oodle's classifieds listings network through partnerships and distribution deals.


  • The Gate Worldwide has named RAFAEL SULIT to director of account management; EMILY AGRESS to account supervisor; KATIE BROTHERTON to account executive; KERRI BERNSTEIN to media planner and SHAHNAZ SHROFF to assistant account executive.


  • ReelzChannel has tapped BOB REICHBLUM as executive producer of DAILIES, the channel’s movie news program.

  • Smithsonian Publishing has created an online publishing group to be helmed by EMILY ALLEN. Prior to Smithsonian, she worked at Time4 Media as online manager for GOLFONLINE.com, GOLF Magazine’s Web site.


  • WARREN CHRISTOPHER has been promoted to publishing director of Show Circuit, up from creative director.


  • JOSH ROSENZWEIG has been promoted from director of corporate and marketing communications to vice president of publicity and marketing for here!, a gay television network.


  • FRED NORRIS has been promoted to vice president, southeast sales region, advertising sales for Discovery Networks U.S., overseeing the Atlanta sales office. Norris will oversee all advertising sales efforts in the Southeast region for Discovery Networks U.S., and provide leadership and direction to the Atlanta-based sales team.


  • MICHELE MORRIS has been named senior producer at ATTIK. Morris has worked with ATTIK as a freelance producer on the Scion and AOL/AIM Mail campaigns.


  • KIM MENIER has been named svp, strategic planning and director of account planning at the Integer Group. She joins Integer from Rapp Collins Worldwide where she was vp - brand planning.


  • ANITA PAUL has joined Horizon Media’s west coast office as a brand group director. Paul comes to Horizon from Inter/Media Advertising where she was most recently director of planning.


  • Electronic Arts has named MICHAEL SAPERSTEIN as sales manager in New York. He most recently worked for Popular Science as an account manager on the NY sales Team.


  • TiVo has named STEVE SORDELLO senior vice president and chief financial officer. He served as CFO of Ask Jeeves from 2001 until 2005.


  • MARK SITLEY, most recently executive creative director/production at the New York office of Euro RSCG Worldwide, is partnering with production executives LUKE THORNTON and LIZ SILVER in the formation of a new content company called Beyond Belief. Sitley will hold the title of managing partner in the new company.


  • DOMINIC MANCUSO has been named vice president of programming and promotions for WFLD-TV FOX 32 and WPWR-TV My50 Chicago. Mancuso joins the stations after 19 years with WGN-TV, where he most recently held the position of station manager.


  • DAVID ELKINS has joined the YES Network as director, digital media. Elkins will spearhead all ad sales strategies for the recently re-launched YESNetwork.com. Most recently, he was national account director for Yahoo!, responsible for accounts such as Coca-Cola, Unilever, Novartis, and Bristol Myers Squibb.


  • DAVID BLUM has been named executive director of SF Interactive, the digital arm of Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners. Blum joins the company from Avenue A/Razorfish, where he was managing director of its Web Development Practice.
