  • Genex has named LISA LACASSE as media director. Most recently, she led media planning and strategy at Nissan North America for both the Nissan and Infiniti brands.


  • JOHN OLDS has been named senior vice president, group creative director at the New York office of Draft. Olds was most recently senior vice president, group creative director at Wunderman overseeing a team of 14 responsible for all domestic CRM work for Microsoft Servers and Tools.


  • CHRISTIAN M. GONZALEZ has joined BET Interactive as director of advertising sales for the western regional operations.


  • MATTHEW DE GANON has been named vice president, broadband and consumer applications at The Weather Channel Interactive. Ganon will be responsible for the development and production of new broadband programming, including One Degree, which will launch later this summer.


  • PixFusion has tapped MARC E. JAFFE as CEO, and he will also join company’s board of directors. Jaffe joins PixFusion from Rodale, where he served as senior vice president & managing director of its general books and licensing divisions.


  • MELISSA LEDERER was named senior vice president of marketing; GREG SEYLLER as senior vice president of sales and KIM SMITH as senior vice president of business development at Q Interactive.


  • Rosetta has hired DAVID S. OSBORN as managing partner – financial services.


  • GAC has named KEVIN KRITCH as vice president of studio operations, and SUZANNE GORDON as director of programming.


  • ANDREA MEZZASALMA has been appointedas head of TNS' Internet, Television and Radio Audience Measurement sector (iTRAM), responsible for managing the global business.


  • RICH SIMMS has joined Wanamaker Associates as managing consultant for the media practice. In this newly created role, Simms will spearhead Wanamaker's media search activities. Prior to joining Wanamaker, Rich served as evp and general manager of Initiative's Southeast and West regions. In that role, he oversaw agency activities for over 50 national and regional media assignments including BellSouth, The Home Depot, Best Western, Albertson's and Lucas Arts.


  • Fuse is opening a Chicago office to be helmed by MICHAEL ROCHE, director of advertising sales for the Midwest region.


  • ROBERT FORMENTIN has joined Answers.com as vice president of advertising sales, responsible for all aspects of direct advertising sales and operations.


  • JENNIFER GREENE has joined TACODA as manager, sales development (East) a newly created position. Greene joins TACODA from Q Interactive, where she served as senior account manager.


  • NICK VELLOFF, director of creative development at AKQA's DC office, has left the agency to operate an independent rich media agency. Velloff joined AKQA's Washington DC office in 2003 where he managed interactive flash development for brands such as Vitamin Water, AOL and ESPN.


  • J.P. KYRILLOS has been promoted to vice president and publisher of Food & Wine, up from vice president and associate publisher. Kyrillos, replaces JULIE MCGOWAN, who assumed the position of senior vice president and publisher of Travel + Leisure.


  • al Punto Advertising has hired TONY STANOL as chief business strategist. Stanol comes to al Punto after senior account management experience at JWT, BBDO and FCB.


  • KEITH ULRICH has joined Mullen Detriot as senior vice president, group account director; GAYLE JOSEPH was named vice president, account director for public relations and SUSAN LARUE was named vice president, group planning director in the Detriot office.


  • Starcom USA has created a new executive leadership team--Starcom Executive Operations--consisting of Starcom USA CEO JOHN MUSZYNSKI; STEVEN FEULING, president and chief consumer officer; CHRIS BOOTHE, president and chief activation officer; ANDREW SWINAND, president and chief client officer, and KATHY RING, president and chief Los Angeles operations officer.


  • MICHAEL SPIRITO has joined the YES Network as director of business development.


  • Mediaedge:cia has named KRISTEN ZOHN communications strategy director for its print division. She will oversee all print buying and planning duties for several agency clients, including Colgate-Palmolive, E&J Gallo Winery, Cadbury-Adams and Payless Shoe Source. Zohn joins MEC from Johnson & Johnson’s global marketing group, where she spearheaded research and strategic integrated communications programs as media manager for J&J brands Aveeno, Clean&Clear, Stayfree, Reach and Rembrandt, among others.


  • KIRSTEN FLANIK, formerly business development director at Bartle Bogle Hegarty, has joined BBDO New York as a senior account director. She will oversee the Masterfoods account. Prior to working at BBH, Flanik worked at Cliff Freeman and Partners, as vice president group account director.


  • T3 has hired GLEN SHEEHAN as a group creative director. Prior to joining T3, Sheehan had been creative director at Young & Rubicam Brands/Wunderman in Irvine, California, and before that, executive creative director at AKQA in San Francisco.


  • Hallmark Channel has restructured its program scheduling and acquisitions departments by combining them into one group and promoting key staff. MICHELLE VICARY has been promoted to senior vice president, acquisitions and scheduling from vice president, program scheduling and administration. DARREN MELAMETH has been promoted to director, programming from director, scheduling, and MARK DAVIDSON has been named manager, acquisitions from manager, scheduling.


  • Did-it Search Marketing has hired DAVE HONIG as vice president of its data-driven media business, SearchConnect. He joins Did-it from Admarketplace.net where he was vice president business development.


  • Mediaedge:cia has appointed JOHN DORÉas managing partner of the multinational business group Global Solutions Europe, Middle East and Africa, based in London. Doré will lead the Sony Ericsson global account.Doré joins the agency from Carat UK where he was international business director, working in a global capacity on Vodafone, BMW and Lego, since 2002.


  • RON FREDERICK was named vice president/automotive director for PARADE magazine. Frederick joins PARADE from TV Guide Inc., where he was director, integrated media sales.


  • COLLIN GRIFFIN has joined Colby & Partners as associate media director, responsible for all of Colby’s Digital Media.


  • MICHAEL A. MAY was promoted to branch director and automotive manager of the Detroit office of Heth & Associates/Publicitas N.A.ESTHER MADDOX, previously with GM Mediaworks and GM Planworks has joined the company as sales assistant.
