  • ALEX BOYCE has been promoted to director, site strategy and development, for IAC Advertising Solutions.


  • Fry Hammond Barr has formed an in-house interactive group to provide Internet-based strategy, planning and execution for existing and new clients. DEBRA MARRANO-LUCAS has joined the agency to lead the effort. Marrano-Lucas joins the agency from EndConsulting and Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown + Russell.


  • LEONARD J. TACCONI has been named president of Discovery Communications Inc.’s Discovery Health Media Enterprises. Tacconi will oversee all aspects of the strategic growth and development of the company’s healthcare media business. Most recently, Tacconi served as executive director of corporate marketing for Merck & Company.


  • ADAM CHIBIB has joined Internet REIT as chief financial officer. Chibib was most recently CFO of TippingPoint Technologies.


  • WebVisible has named CAREY RANSOM as vice president of marketing and corporate development.


  • OnRequest Images has named DAVID OLSEN as vice president of sales.


  • KIMBERLY GABELMANN joined Sundance Channel as vice president, branded entertainment and sponsorship. Gabelmann comes to Sundance Channel from Comedy Central where she was director, new business development.


  • CHARLIE COLLIER has been named general manager of AMC. Collier joins AMC from Court TV where he served as executive vice president, general manager, of advertising sales.


  • JOHN YORKE has joined GJP Advertising as executive vice president of interactive and integration. Yorke spent the last four years as a consultant to clients including the Cookie Jar Group, John Wiley and Sons, Azure Dynamics, the Ontario Securities Commission, GJP and Hewlett Packard.


  • RODMAN GREGG has joined Concrete Pictures as vice president of content. Gregg will be charged with identifying and developing original content for television, film and new media platforms. Most recently, Gregg was head of television development and production for RKO Pictures.


  • BETHANY MACMILLAN has joined HSI Productions as east coast sales associate.


  • WPP’s Wunderman has acquired Shaw Marketing Group, a relationship marketing agency specializing in Spirits and Consumer Packaged Goods categories. The new operating division of Wunderman New York will be called Shaw Wunderman. RICHARD SHAW, the company’s founder and president, will remain as the head of Shaw Wunderman and continue the agency’s relationship with existing clients Diageo (Crown Royal, Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Guinness and Baileys) and the New York Philharmonic.


  • LEE DOLLAR has been named vice president of programming for studio and content development at ReelzChannel. Dollar will oversee the channel’s relationships with studios, filmmakers, and advertisers in developing themed content across theatrical, DVD, and PPV windows. He previously served as vice president, worldwide promotions for Sony Pictures’ Columbia TriStar Marketing Group.


  • TACODA has opened a London office, appointing PAUL GOAD to be managing director of the UK operation. Goad will be responsible for developing publisher, client and agency relationships across the United Kingdom and Ireland.


  • Advertising.com has hired CHIP WAYT as a sales manager in its San Francisco office. He is charged with driving ad sales growth and revenue to various online advertising platforms. Most recently, he served as senior account executive for Innovation Interactive/360i.com.


  • Webloyalty has named MATT GILBERT as senior vice president, business development. Gilbert formerly served as senior vice president, IAC InterActive Corp’s Advertising Solutions Search Marketing Practice where he was responsible for all search advertising revenue, customer relationships and day-to-day operations.


  • Forbes Advertising & Marketing Group has named JIM GAWLEY vice president, eMedia. He will oversee the organization's eNewsletter, web development and data printing efforts.


  • MSNBC.com has promoted MARTIN WOLK to business editor, overseeing the business section, including all writers and editors. Wolk joined MSNBC.com in 1999 following a career at Reuters news.


  • Former managing director of the Jack Morton UK office, LAURENCE CRONEEN joins the New York office as executive vice president, managing director where he will be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the office.


  • KAREN PISCITELLI joined FUSEideas as director of client services. Prior to joining FUSEideas, Piscitelli served as director of integrated marketing at New Balance Athletic Shoe.


  • MATTHEW T. DOOLEY has joined Response Mine as vice president, group director. In his new position, he is responsible for managing a team in charge of executing all search and affiliate marketing initiatives for client Home Depot.


  • PETER DENUNZIO will join Draft FCB as president of its New York agency. Most recently the general manager of global clients at Ogilvy & Mather in New York, DeNunzio previously served as general manager of OgilvyOne in New York.


  • CRAIG BAGNO and PETER FEKULA have been named executive group directors at Ogilvy to head business growth areas on its IBM account. Before joining Ogilvy, Bagno spent 6 years at McCann where he ran the MasterCard International business in North and South America. Fekula joins Ogilvy after a 6-year run at Merkley + Partners where he led and won the pitch for Pfizer’s Lipitor and also directed the integrated Bell South account.


  • DAVID PARSON has been promoted to creative director, up from associate creative director, at GSD&M.


  • Dedicated Networks has hired STEPHANIE ROGIN as an account executive. Most recently, Rogin worked at ID Media as an account supervisor on the Nautilus account.


  • JEFFREY MAGGS has joined Blattner Brunner as svp, director of account management. Most recently, Maggs served as chief operating officer at MARC USA.


  • TOM KUCZYNSKI has joined VNU Business Media as senior vice president of corporate development & planning. In his new role, Kuczynski will lead corporate development efforts for acquisitions, co-ventures and new business development. Most recently, Kuczynski was managing director at The Pareto Group.


  • Ethnic Print Media Group has hired CLAUDIA MONTOYA to lead its Hispanic print media division. Previously a national accounts manager for La Opinion, Montoya was responsible for overseeing national advertising sales; development of advertising and event marketing promotions and creating new client media campaigns.


  • FORREST CLOUGH has joined G2 Promotional Marketing as partner, creative director, responsible for overseeing creative for the agency’s Stamford office. Clough was most recently the creative director at World Wrestling Entertainment, leading creative development across all its brands and properties.
