CurtCo Media has named ELIZABETH RITTER as managing editor of Worth magazine. Ritter joins Worth after four years as managing editor of Time4 Media’s SHOT Business.
LYNN BRINDELL has been named senior vice president, marketing, of The Weather Channel. Brindell will oversee and have leadership responsibility for all marketing functions for the network. She previously served as senior vice president of marketing and creative services for Food Network, where she was responsible for all brand positioning and consumer marketing strategies for the network's programming and content extensions.
G2 Promotional Marketing has appointed MARY LINEBURG as managing partner of the Dallas office. Prior to her promotion, Lineburg served as vice president management supervisor.
DDB Canada hired RICHARD SANDOR as managing director of the Vancouver office. Previously, Sandor worked at DDB London as global business director on Nestle Purina, as well as European and UK Business Director on DDB's J&J account.

LION New Media has named MICHAEL KOONTZ as vice president of business development. Most recently, Koontz worked for MSNBC.com as manager of partner programs.
Cornerstone has named STEVEN JUSTMAN as executive vice president and general manager of Cornerstone and Cornerstone-owned FADER magazine. He most recently served as vice president of global media at the NBA.
R/GA has formed MEMA (Mobile and Emerging Media/Applications), a new capability offered to meet the growing demand for mobile marketing strategies and nontraditional advertising campaigns. RICHARD TING, VP, executive creative director of the group, will oversee the MEMA team. In addition, WEBSTER LEWIN was named director of mobile marketing and CLAUDIA BERNETT as a leading interaction designer to the group.
