  • MATTHEW BURSTIN joined dentsuAmerica as account executive on the Canon U.S.A. camcorder and printer business. Burstin was most recently an account executive on the Genworth Financial account at Young & Rubicam in New York.


  • The Sawtooth Group named SUSAN VON BRACHEL senior art director, JENNY MULLIGAN as media planner and KRISTIN CARLSON as an account executive.


  • MEC Bravo named FERNANDA FARES as senior manager, consumer insights. Fares joins the agency from NBC/Telemundo in Miami.


  • Starmark/MARC USA named RICHARD “RICK” DOYLE to lead the media segment of its business. Doyle most recently served as media director for Zimmerman & Partners.


  • KYLE J. SMALLEY, MICHAEL STELMASZEK, SCOTT S. TAYLOR and ROBERT E. TRAVIS have been named senior vice presidents at Campbell-Ewald.


  • DDB CANADA promoted DARYL GARDINER to associate creative director and hired CHRIS MOORE as art director and JEFF GALBRAITH as copywriter.


  • LARRY GREEN was named vice president, business development for Strategis.


  • NBC Universal promoted BETH COMSTOCK to president, NBC Universal Integrated Media; JEFF GASPIN to president, NBC Universal Cable and Digital Content; and MARC GRABOFF to president, NBC Universal Television, West Coast.


  • MARC GOLDSTEIN was named chief executive officer GroupM North America, where he will share management responsibilities for the parent unit with current GroupM chief investment officer RINO SCANZONI. Since 2002, Goldstein has served as president-CEO of MindShare North America.


  • TRACY STALZER was named associate publisher of ALL YOU magazine. In addition, JOSÉ R. PÉREZ was named vice president, consumer marketing for the magazine.


  • DALE YARLBOROUGH joined PJA Advertising and Marketing as an account manager. Before joining PJA, Yarlborough was an account manager at Mullen.


  • Thomas Taber & Drazen named PAM KING as senior vice president media director.


  • JOHN KING is returning to Fallon to run its Connection Planning unit. King left Fallon in 2005 for Gartner Studios where he served as vice president of marketing.


  • LINDA LYDON has been promoted to director of special sections and STEVE CLANCY was promoted to director of production for the Time Inc. Business and Finance Network’s Custom Projects Group.


  • RUPERT DAY was named chief operating officer at GroupM. Day served as GroupM’s CFO since 2003.


  • Tremor Media named RICHARD POWELL, PAUL SLUBERSKI and JUSTIN SCHACTER as regional sales managers and ERIC SACCULLO and BECKY GIBSON as account managers.


  • KSL Media has restructured its agency by instituting a full approach to communications planning. TOM STOLFI was named evp/corporate media director. He is the former senior partner/strategic planning director at MindShare. In addition, JEFFREY MAHL was named evp/chief buying officer. He is the former svp/sales and Internet ventures for ESPN.


  • CHRISTY SPITZER joined Lion Television USA as director of development. Most recently, Spitzer was a manager of development for MTV’s production development group.


  • LinkedIn named DAN NYE as CEO. Nye succeeds REID HOFFMAN, who will remain as LinkedIn’s chairman and president, products.


  • CNET Networks Business Group named MICHAEL JACOBS as the director of sales, west. He joins the company from the Financial Times in San Francisco, where he was northwest sales manager.


  • MIGUEL FERRER was named programming director of AOL Latino. Most recently, Ferrer was the business development manager for People en Español.


  • CHRISTOPHER DAVIS joined BBDO Atlanta as executive creative director. He joins from True Agency where he was a partner and executive creative director.


  • PRIMEDIA promoted SEAN HOLZMAN to president, PRIMEDIA Enterprises. He previously served as senior vice president of sales and marketing.


  • KIRILL MATVEEV was named managing director for Aegis Media Russia.
