  • The Art Directors Club named AMI BROPHY as its executive director, succeeding MYRNA DAVIS, who steps down after 14 years. She most recently served as the executive director of the Clio Awards.


  • Sundance Channel promoted TIMOTHY BOELL to senior vice president of affiliate sales. In addition, former EVP affiliate sales GRETCHEN BEIDL was promoted to EVP, business development.


  • The Republik hired RYAN CUTHRIELL as interactive director. Previously, Cuthriell was a designer at interactive design agency Ulanguzi Creative Strategies.


  • WONGDOODY hired ROB OSLER as director of brand strategy and research, a newly created position. Prior to WONGDOODY, Osler was principal of Modus Branding, a Seattle-based brand strategy and naming firm.


  • Avenue A | Razorfish promoted BARBARA WARD THALL from client partner to vice president & client partner; DAVID WISH from senior account director to client partner; and ANDY FISHER from principal consultant to analytics director.


  • TOM TALBERT was promoted to executive vice president, director of media services at Campbell-Ewald.


  • Rapp Collins promoted PAM BEVILACQUE to group account director, up from vice president account director, on Mercedes.


  • MARC REBUCCI was named advertising director of Country Homemagazine. Replacing Rebucci as eastern sales manager at Better Homes and Gardensare DANTE GAUDIO and BILL SHANER. Gaudio and Shaner will jointly oversee the New York Sales operations while continuing to maintain their own sales responsibilities.


  • G2 Direct & Digital appointed CATHY CLIFT to lead its Strategic Planning function. Most recently, she spent the last seven years at Rapp Collins Worldwide as chief planning officer for its US operations, supporting clients including Toyota, DirecTV, and Best Buy.


  • PAUL RICHARDSON was named executive vice president of global human resources at Universal McCann. He most recently served as senior vice president of human resources for Paramount Pictures Corporation. Richardson will be responsible for managing similar functions on a global level for the agency.


  • Wieden+Kennedy hired TYLER WHISNAND as co-creative director for the Nike team based in Portland, Oregon. Whisnand replaces STEVE LUKER, who was promoted in January as co-creative director for the Portland office. Most recently, Whisnand served as creative director and partner at KesselsKramer, a communications company located in Amsterdam.


  • STEVE BOLT and MATT FERA have joined Draftfcb Chicago as vice president, senior art director and vice president, senior copywriter, respectively. Bolt and Fera join the agency from Y&R Detroit, where they most recently served as vice presidents, associate creative directors.


  • KENDALL SMITH was named account director for Men’s Health magazine. Smith joins Men’s Health from Wired Magazine where he also served as account director, managing accounts such as GE and IBM.


  • Jumpstart Automotive Media hired BRIAN LEDOUX as director of advertising operations. Most recently, Ledoux was director of online advertising operations at Universal McCann/MRM Partners.


  • IAG Research named R. DANIEL DAHLEN as executive vice president of the firm's Restaurant Business Group. Dahlen will be responsible for strategic planning and growth of the firm’s newest division.


  • pushtwentytwo named ERICA ORTLEIB as account manager. Ortleib comes to pushtwentytwo from JWT, where she was an account executive for the launch of the 2008 Ford Super Duty.


  • Copywriter MIKE WARD returns to Fallon after two years as a copywriter at Y&R Chicago. While at Fallon from 2003 to 2005, Ward worked on the BMW “3 Series” launch, the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism “Escape from Everyday Life” campaign, ArcaEx, and Citi.


  • NICK COLUCCI was appointed president and CEO of Publicis Healthcare Communications Group, replacing ED RADY. Rady has been named chairman of the company and will remain in that position through the end of the year.


  • Ask.com hired MARY OSAKO as senior vice president of corporate communications. Osako is responsible for setting the global communications strategy for the company and driving all aspects of public relations. Most recently, Osako served as vice president of corporate communications for Yahoo!, managing International and Global Policy Communications.


  • Gospel Music Channel promoted GENIA EDELMAN to senior vice president, national accounts. She previously served as vice president of affiliate sales.


  • MSG Media hired MELISSA CHUSID as director, talent relations and development; STACI DUNBAR as senior coordinating producer, original programming, features and post production; JEFF FILIPPI as senior coordinating producer, MSG remote and classic programming; and lastly promoted DENISE GIORDANO to director, programming and acquisitions.


  • TOM HALLIGAN joined The Magazine Group as editorial director, business and education media. He will oversee B2B custom publications in sectors including engineering and education. Most recently, Halligan was editorial director for Ziff Davis Media’s Custom Solutions Group.


  • Molecular promoted AMY E. QUIGLEY to vice president of marketing.


  • The Hollywood Reporter named MILLIE CHIAVELLI to the newly created role of vice president, integrated sales & marketing for national television, cable and consumer accounts. She most recently served as national advertising sales director of Advertising Age.


  • LAURA O’CONNELL was hired as a business analyst by Gupta Media, handling its music and television clients. JASON CARRASCO was named manager of the company’s search engine marketing department, overseeing its team of analysts.


  • ALEX BOYCE has been named general manager, online, for Nielsen Business Media's Film & Performing Arts Group. Boyce joins Nielsen from IAC Advertising Solutions, where he held the position of director, site strategy & development.


  • Rogue Editorial named STEW HORSLEY as its producer.


  • ALLISON WERDER was promoted to senior vice president of business development at PARADE magazine. Werder joined PARADE in 2002 as manager/planning and development.


  • Monster named JOAN BLACKWOOD its chief marketing officer for North America. Most recently, she served as senior vice president of worldwide marketing at CA, formerly known as Computer Associates, where she ran the global marketing organization.


  • Midwest Living magazine named ELAINE PURNELL as national advertising director. Purnell joins the magazine from Woman’s Day where she was Midwest advertising director.


  • SEAN RYAN, most recently head of East Coast and Midwest sales for People.com, EW.com and Teenpeople.com, joined ManiaTV! as a national sales manager.


  • Lopez Negrete Communications named RANDY STOCKDALE as executive group account director. Stockdale will oversee the strategic management of the company’s Visa USA, Chili’s and Microsoft accounts.


  • Mandalay Pictures named ELIZABETH STEPHEN as president of Mandalay Television. In addition, ROBIN BUDD was named senior vice president and DAVID LEVINE was appointed as vice president.


  • WhitePages.com named JENNIFER FRAUM as a junior account executive for the east coast. Previously, she was a digital account executive at NBC Universal for its local television station Web sites.


  • PUNCHALI KHANNA has been appointed account manager at REDBOOK magazine. Khanna will oversee the advertising for New York based home, CE/Tech, photo, finance and auto categories.


  • JULIE FUOTI has been promoted to vice president, client solutions of Meredith 360°. Most recently, Fuoti served as executive director of marketing.


  • The VIA Group hired JEANNE MURPHY as a public relations client strategist.


  • TOM COSGROVE has been named senior vice president and general manager, The Science Channel. DEENA EDWARDS was elevated from director of program planning to vice president, integrated program and promotions. JEFF HASLER was promoted to senior vice president of production and development and MARY DONAHUE and LIZ BRACH were elevated to vice presidents, creative content.


  • GARY YIATCHOS joins Goody’s as senior vice president and chief marketing officer; THOMAS HUGHES joins as senior vice president of human resources; and LORI HORN as group vice president, merchandising.
