  • SIVOO named CHRISTOPHER MYERS president and chief operating officer. Myers will be responsible for the management and performance of all business units of company, handling financial activities, execution of the business model, product development and delivery, marketing, advertising sales and programming.


  • JASON HINER was named executive editor at TechRepublic, responsible for leading its editorial department and writing the blog "Tech Sanity Check."


  • Connexion.a named ALAN OSETEK as executive vice president of sales and marketing. He most recently served as executive vice president at Isobar.


  • GUHAN SELVARETNAM joined Turner Broadcasting System’s New Products Group as vice president, New Products Group lead.


  • TODD WASSERMAN was promoted to editor of Brandweek and Brandweek.com, overseeing print and digital content for the magazine. He replaces KAREN BENEZRA, who joined The Nielsen Company’s NielsenConnect division as vice president, executive director of NielsenTrend.


  • GARY STRAUSS was named interactive sales director for the Newspaper National Network. Most recently, he served as vice president of sales at Imaginova.


  • Erwin-Penland hired KAREN WALKER as copywriter and JASON SMITH as art director. Both previously worked at Grant, Scott & Hurley.


  • Meridian Consulting Group named KAREN STRAUSS as executive consultant. Strauss joins Meridian from Amplitude Marketing Group, where she helped develop growth strategies for global clients.


  • Digitas Health promoted MICHAEL DU TOIT to executive vice president, marketing & client service, up from executive vice president, management supervisor and LEN DOLCE to senior vice president, general manager, from senior vice president, finance.


  • PC Magazine promoted ASHLEY KINLEY KAMIL to marketing director. She served as senior marketing manager since 2004.


  • Carton Donofrio Partners named CARRIE GARDNER and RYAN MACH as account leaders.


  • Responsys named JOHN NUGENT as vice president and general manager of EMEA. Prior to Responsys, Nugent was managing director of EMEA at DoubleClick Email Solutions.


  • NANCY MCKENNA joined Court TV as vice president, production operations.


  • DAVID LOCKWOOD was promoted to executive vice president, director strategic planning at Campbell-Ewald.


  • Mindshare Interactive Campaigns hired M. SUE WOODWARD to direct its fundraising practice. Most recently, she was director of direct response fundraising at the National Headquarters of the American Red Cross.


  • G2 Branding & Design named JAIME ZAMBRANA and RACHEL LEIBSON as creative directors.


  • The Out-of-Home Video Advertising Bureau named KIM NORRIS as the organization’s first president. Prior to joining OVAB, Norris was a division vice president with Comcast Spotlight.


  • Red Tettemer named JOE NELMS as creative director. Nelms will be responsible for overseeing creative duties on clients including Pennsylvania Tourism Office, PBS KIDS Sprout and Franklin’s Paine Skatepark. Nelms joins Red Tettemer from Warner Bros. Films where he was vice president of advertising.


  • PHIL METLIN has been named vice president and news director for WTXF FOX 29.


  • Optimedia U.S. named ANDREA KERR REDNISS senior vice president, managing director, responsible for the agency’s digital and national broadcast integration unit, NewCast. Redniss joins the agency from ID Media, where as vice president, media director, she handled strategic media planning duties for Subaru, The Cayman Islands, Nikon and Gorton’s.


  • CHRISTINE GLANCEY was named managing editor of The Wall Street Journal Asia, succeeding ANN PODD. Glancey is currently chief of the global copy desk.


  • KEN SACHARIN joined MediaVest as executive vice president, managing director to oversee Kraft's global account, which includes general market planning and buying, multicultural marketing and advanced television services for the portfolio of Kraft brands. Sacharin most recently co-founded Dial House, a full-service agency with clients that included Toyota, Red Stripe and Bushmills.


  • PAUL MCGUIRE was promoted to vice president of integrated media at R&R Partners. Prior to joining R&R Partners, he worked at Universal McCann as vice president/group supervisor, on Sony Pictures, Sony Electronics, Sony Music and Sony Online Entertainment.


  • ANDREA G PREZIOTTI joined AOL as marketing communications manager. Most recently, Preziotti was a fashion advertising assistant for GQ magazine.


  • PointRoll promoted DAN FRADIN to creative sales director. Fradin was most recently the director of rich media support. OWEN SIDD was promoted to senior campaign manager, up from campaign manager.


  • DAVID HERSHEY was named vice president of creative for EDGE Creative. Hershey joins EDGE from CBS Television Stations in Dallas, where he served as director of creative services.


  • PRIMEDIA hired BRYAN ROBB and ROBERT KLEIN as west coast digital sales manager and east coast digital sales director, respectively, for PRIMEDIA Automotive Digital.


  • United>Future, the interactive division of WONGDOODY, added STEVE KARR as director of client partnerships and CHRISTOPHER ADORNA as director of experience planning.


  • STEPHANIE CRIPPEN joined McCann Erickson in New York as copywriter. Most recently, Crippen was at 180 Amsterdam and Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam working on Adidas and Coca-Cola.


  • Rapp Collins Healthcare hired LIZ CUETO as senior account executive on the Novartis team. She previously worked at G2.


  • MJA Advertising launched a sponsorship and brand integration division to be led by MARTY SOKOLER, formerly of Comcast Spotlight.
