  • STEVE BERNSTEIN was named president of Bernstein-Rein, becoming only the second president since the company was founded in 1964. He previously served as senior vice president/chief operating officer.


  • Mediaedge:cia elevated NATHALIE ALFRED to director, corporate communications global, responsible for driving internal and external corporate communications worldwide. She joined the agency in 2000 and previously served as partner, marketing and communications. In addition, MEC Bravo hired DIANE LIBRIZZI and EDWIN CAMACHO as partner, account director and account manager, respectively. The pair will handle MEC Bravo accounts, Macy's and Berlex, and focus on new business.


  • BETSY MORRIS was named a senior editor at FORTUNE magazine. Morris was most recently a senior writer at Condé Nast’s Portfolio magazine.


  • Broadstreet hired HEATHER TOWSLEY as director of business development. She will provide senior strategic sales and marketing direction for the Boston office.


  • Davidandgoliath named CAROL LOMBARD to the position of executive producer and managing director. Most recently, she worked at Y&R Brands where she was senior vice president and executive producer, overseeing production of integrated brand advertising for various brands.


  • LUCY WAHLTMAN joined Zillow.com as the director of west coast sales. She previously served as director of west coast sales at CNNMoney.com.


  • CHRIS GAYTON joined Channel M as vice president of marketing. Most recently, Gayton was the senior director of media and promotions for Gap Inc./Old Navy, where he directed strategy development, buying, planning and negotiation of all national and local media.


  • Euro RSCG Worldwide hired SIMONE BARKER and JANE GOODMAN as planning directors in New York on the Reckitt Benckiser account.


  • HEATHER PARISEAU was named vice president of interactive programming and operations and ERIN FRANZMAN was named director of programming for MSG Interactive.


  • CABLEreadypromoted JOHN CASEY to vice president of finance, up from director of finance.


  • SUSAN POCHARSKI was named entertainment director for Ladies’ Home Journal. She joins the magazine from Life, where she was responsible for securing celebrity interviews and assigning cover stories.


  • Arbitron named JOEL ZAREMBY to senior account manager for Project Apollo. Prior to Arbitron, Zaremby was the senior vice president of sales and marketing for Verance Corporation.


  • Zimmerman Advertising promoted DAVID KISSELL to executive vice president, managing director from vice president of Zimmerman's AutoNation Division.


  • Upshot hired LIONEL KNIGHT as senior vice president, planning, and promoted KATE MAY to senior vice president, finance.


  • Agency.com named JORDAN WARREN president of the San Francisco office.


  • BEN SILVERMAN and veteran NBCU executive MARC GRABOFF have been appointed Co-Chairmen of NBC Entertainment and NBC Universal Television Studio. Silverman and Graboff will be responsible for all aspects of the network's primetime, late-night and daytime programming, and will also oversee the entertainment division's digital efforts, including NBC.com, and all of the network and television studio's creative, marketing, business and financial components.


  • G2 Worldwide named NICK HOADLEY as managing director for G2 Promotional Marketing, Chicago. Most recently Hoadley was based in London leading G2’s retail communications practice in Europe, Middle East and Asia.


  • Mammoth Advertising named CHRISTIAN CACCIOPPOLI to the position of interactive media planner, CHARLES LAM to director of production and MICHAEL DENTON to manager, grassroots & viral marketing.


  • Sigma Group added TONY PUCCA, associate creative director and JOSE AGUIRRE, multimedia designer, to its creative department.


  • VML named JIM BELLINGHAUSEN as chief financial officer. Bellinghausen most recently served as vice president of finance and CFO for Saia.


  • CAROLYN ABERMAN joined OLSON as account director and vice president. She recently served as senior marketing executive for the Target Corporation.


  • Rainbow Advertising Sales Corporation named SUSAN JOSEPH SMITH as account director for RASCO’s Client Activation Team. Smith was formerly vice president of trade marketing for We tv.


  • Starcom hired JOHN LOWELL as vice president of the company and director of captivation. Lowell will be responsible for creating and leading a team of Captivation specialists to support Starcom's evolving positioning of its "Connections that Captivate" approach. He previously worked as vice president and director of innovation for Arc Worldwide.


  • MediaVest elevated LISA DONOHUE and JIM KITE to president.


  • Horizon Media promoted STACY SANCHEZ to account supervisor; AMANDA MORRIS was elevated to planner; and ANDRE ALFA was promoted to account executive.


  • Mullen Detroit named JOYCE KAREL as senior vice president, account director. Karel will lead the GM Cardmember Services business and play an integral role in the overall management and growth of Mullen’s Detroit office. Karel joins Mullen from Whirlpool, where she served as marketing director.


  • Madison Square Garden named LEWIS SHERR as senior vice president of marketing partnerships for MSG Media. Sherr will oversee sponsorship sales efforts for all Madison Square Garden divisions, as well as develop strategies and programs to reinforce the MSG experience. Before joining MSG Media, Sherr was vice president of client partnerships at Time Warner Global Marketing.


  • RENEE MOFFITT joined The Motion Picture Company as vice president, marketing director.


  • Comcast Spotlight promoted KELLIE GRUTKO from senior director of marketing to vice president of marketing. Grutko oversees advertising, field marketing, sports marketing, promotional sponsorships, creative services and public affairs.


  • ANDY JACOBSON, a former Google and DoubleClick executive, joined LeadStream as senior vice president of sales. Jacobson will oversee the development and implementation of LeadStream’s category-specific direct sales strategy. KEVIN KELLER joined the company as vice president of search engine marketing. Keller will be responsible for traffic generation, optimization strategies and oversight of SEM campaign management.


  • KYLE SHERWIN was named vice president, media, creative group at Sony BMG Music Entertainment. He previously worked for Universal McCann's Digital Communications Practice as vice president, group media director.
