  • Monster named TED GILVAR as executive vice president and chief global marketing officer. Most recently, Gilvar was executive vice president and senior director at BBDO where he managed the Monster business as well as the National Football League, Target, Guinness and Red Stripe for Diageo. 


  • Playboy Enterprises named JIMMY JELLINEK as division senior vice president of digital content, digital media. Most recently, he served as vice president, entertainment and programming for Heavy.com.

  • Travel Ad Network hired JEFFREY J. WEIBELas vice president, southeast sales. Most recently, Weibel served as Travelocity's director of the southeast.

  • HARRY E. SLOAN signed a new three-year agreement to continue as the chairman and chief executive officer of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios.

  • McCann Worldgroup San Francisco appointed CLAUDINE CHEEVER executive vice president, executive planning director. Cheever joins the agency from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, where she served as deputy planning director.
