  • Euro RSCG Chicago hired MARTYN DEAN as group creative director. Dean will manage the creative efforts for the agency's Citigroup and Kraft accounts. He previously served as a group creative director at Avenue A/Razorfish in Chicago.


  • DDB New York promoted JOE CIANCIOTTO to chief community officer. He previously served as executive creative director.

  • Hill Holliday named ROB RICH as executive vice president and group creative director for the agency’s Boston office, working on the Liberty Mutual and Bank of America business. Most recently, Rich was executive vice president, executive creative director at Publicis/Seattle, where he led the creative endeavors for Hewlett-Packard, T-Mobile, Coke, Heineken, Washington State Lottery, Coinstar and Citibank.

  • Gilt Groupe named SUSAN LYNE as chief executive officer. Lyne succeeds ALEXIS MAYBANK, Gilt Groupe's founding chief executive officer. Maybank has been named founder and chief strategy officer; and ALEXANDRA WILSON remains founder and chief merchandise officer. Most recently, Lyne served as president and CEO of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.


  • Critical Mass named JON ANDEXLER as creative director; VANESSA DONLEY as art director; and RINA MALLICK as associate creative director.


  • ALLEN ROSENSHINE, chairman emeritus, BBDO Worldwide, joined the MuseWorx board of advisors.


  • AMY LAZARUS joined Bluerock New York as executive producer. She joins the company from Mad River Post, where she served as executive producer.


  • Draftfcb Chicago hired CHRIS MILLER as senior vice president, group management director, interactive. Most recently he served as chief digital officer for Element79.


  • COCO JONES joined Current TV as director, online ad sales.

  • ASHLEY KLOPFER joined Condé Nast Traveler as senior account manager, overseeing the magazine’s beauty, food and automotive accounts. She was previously an account director at More Magazine.


  • AdMedia Partners named MICHAEL J. KLINGENSMITH as a managing director specializing in media and publishing.


  • Karacters Design Group, the packaging and design division of DDB Canada, hired LEN WISE as managing director to lead its Toronto office. Most recently, he was managing director of Ove Design.


  • Vimation named KIRK KOPIC as president.


  • Crossmedia hired SCOTT HALDEMAN as online media ninja. Prior to Crossmedia, Haldeman was an interactive media supervisor at Universal McCann.


  • OLSON named BOB BRIHN as group creative director. Brihn joins the agency from TM Advertising where he served as group creative director, senior vice president.


  • JOSE PAGAN-ORTIZ joined accentmarketing as senior vice president, group account director. Pagan-Ortiz will be leading the Chevrolet Brand and Retail account team.


  • Greenspun Media Group named CAROL SKERLICH retail sales manager of the Home News.


  • NICK BEIL, CEO of Performics, has been named managing director of the VivaKi Nerve Center across North America, in addition to retaining his current Performics title. FRED JOSEPH, CEO of ZED Digital, has added the role of managing director/VivaKi Nerve Center Europe. Lastly, SEAN KEGELMAN was named senior vice president /digital media partner development for VivaKi in North America.


  • MARIO MATEUS was promoted from chief executive officer, Initiative Portugal to president, Initiative Europe, Middle East and Africa. In Asia Pacific, ROGER CAMPLISSON was named regional representative. In Latin America, JEAN-CHRISTOPHE PETIT has been promoted from president, Initiative Latin America to president, Mediabrands Latin America. ANNETTA CEMBRANO was promoted from chief executive officer, Initiative Chile, to president, Initiative Latin America. Lastly, BANT BREEN has been appointed president, worldwide digital communications.


  • Specific Media hired JEFF VALENTE as director of east coast sales; JOHN SZUMOWSKI as director of sales in southeast region; and LYDIA GOMEZ, JACKIE GURETZ, ALEXANDRA MASTERSON and STEVE DYBSKY as senior account executives.


  • DOUG CHAVEZ joined Del Monte Foods, as head of digital marketing. Chavez was most recently director of ad solutions at Yahoo.


  • Stein Rogan + Partners promoted TED KOHNEN to vice president of interactive marketing.


  • MICHAEL SUMMERS was named senior director of usability for gsi interactive.

  • DENISE SILVERBERG has been named executive director of jewelry and luxury goods for Martha StewartWeddings.

  • Local.com hired PETER MATHEWS as vice president, technology. Most recently, he served as vice president, engineering for AGIS Network.


  • Operative hired MIKE HARD as executiveof sales and marketing. Hard joined Operative from Microsoft, where he was responsible for running its U.S. digital advertising sales.
