  • Adam Luck
    Initiative Canada

    Initiative Canada tapped Adam Luck as president. Luck will have full operational oversight for the agency's client roster, including ING Direct, H&M, Dr. Oetker and Indie88. He will report to Harvey Carroll, CEO of IPG Mediabrands Canada. Luck previously served as vice president of digital strategy & planning for BIMM Direct & Digital where he helped the firm win the Sears and Applebee's Canada accounts. Prior to that, he served as group director, digital at GRIP Limited where he led the agency's Interactive Management Team and built out a social and analytics practice that managed social content for clients including Stella Artois Global, Yum Brands and Johnson & Johnson.

    Media Storm

    Media Storm, the media and marketing division of Water Cooler Group hired three new executive team members. Gary Nelson was named managing director, connections & full force, charged with working with the planning teams to further develop unpaid media solutions the agency has developed under its "Full Force" model. Previously, Nelson has worked at TBWA Chiat/Day, Wunderman and Organic, among other agencies. Rebecca Tellez-Higgins was named director of research & analytics. Tellez-Higgins has led innovation and insights teams for Fox International, MTV and Nickelodeon as well as the Discovery U.S. Hispanic group. Lastly, Michelle Guglielmelli was named chief talent officer for Water Cooler Group and its divisions including Media Storm, MAUDE and HIP Genius. She will manage talent, human resources and the development / integration of talent strategy in all areas of the business. Most recently, Guglielmelli was senior vice president, human resources at New Line Cinema and managing partner, human resources and talent management at MEC.

    Lowe Campbell Ewald New York

    Lowe Campbell Ewald New York hired Melissa Goliczewski as senior copywriter and Erica Turner as senior art director to work on the Unilever account. Both Goliczewski and Turner join the agency from Publicis Kaplan Thaler. Prior to Publicis Kaplan Thaler, Goliczewski was a copywriter at MRM Worldwide Interactive, McCann Erickson Source Communications and DeVito/Verdi. She has worked with clients such as Maybelline, L'Oreal, Intel, US Army and Johnson & Johnson. Previously, Turner was senior art director at Gotham Inc, where she launched global print, television, in-store, and digital campaigns for Maybelline New York Cosmetics. Over the past few years she has also worked with clients including Softsheen-Carson, Maybelline, Burger King, Samsung and the Boys and Girls Club.

    Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners (kbs+) promoted Jenny Read to head of production, a new position at the agency. Read's promotion expands upon her previous responsibilities as executive producer and acting head of production, overseeing all of the agency's broadcast, print, content production and editorial capabilities. She will report to Izzy DeBellis, chief creative officer of kbs+. She joined kbs+ in 2003 as a senior art buyer, rising to the role of executive producer in 2010. While at the agency, Read has led and produced award-winning campaigns spanning national and global broadcast, digital and print production work for clients like BMW, Vanguard, Goldman Sachs and The TJX Companies. Prior to kbs+, Read worked for DDB and McCann Healthcare where she served as an art producer.

    DigitasLBi hired Morgan Carroll as executive vice president/executive creative officer for the Chicago and San Francisco offices. He will be based in Chicago, reporting to Doug Ryan, DigitasLBi president, Chicago/San Francisco. Carroll begins his new role on April 21, relocating from New York. He joins the agency from Deutsch NY where he served as executive vice president/group creative director. While there, he directed campaigns for DIRECTV, Microsoft, Unilever, Kodak and IKEA. Most recently, he helped create Go Daddy’s 2013 Super Bowl spot, "Perfect Match". Prior to Deutsch, Carroll was a founding member of Saatchi & Saatchi's digital agency, Darwin Digital. He went on to oversee Saatchi & Saatchi's first interactive creative department in New York.
