    Red Peak Branding hired Damien Moore-Evans as head of business development. Moore-Evans was most recently global marketing manager, based in London, for FutureBrand. At Red Peak, he is responsible for new business development. He reports to James Fox, CEO of Red Peak. While at FutureBrand, Moore-Evans planned, implemented and activated the firm's global marketing strategy, working with teams in each of the company's 20-plus offices. Before FutureBrand, he managed the European brand and marketing strategy of entertainment and sports presenter, AEG Europe. Moore-Evans replaces Gavin Manley, who left the agency in 2014. "This is an exciting time for our agency. Damien's extensive knowledge of new business gained from experience at global brand consultancies is a perfect fit for Red Peak," said Fox. "His background in brand strategy and business development coupled with an international mind-set are a great complement to Red Peak, and will help us achieve our aggressive growth objectives."

    Spike DDB hired Victor Paredes as managing director, charged with spearheading new business and overseeing clients including Cadillac and Chevrolet. He will report to Spike Lee, chief executive officer and chief creative officer. Prior to Spike DDB, Paredes was senior vice president, strategic business development at LatinWorks (Austin) where he was responsible for leading and sourcing organic and new business growth. Earlier at LatinWorks, he was vice president, responsible for Jamba Juice, Kimberly-Clarke, Lowe's Home Improvement, Marshall's and PepsiCo. Before LatinWorks, Paredes spent more than decade at The Vidal Partnership where he was vice president, associate director of account management, creating Hispanic marketing campaigns for brands such as Heineken, Kraft, MasterCard, Sprint, Trident and Wendy's. "Victor is a multicultural visionary in the marketing space and brings with him inspiring strategic insights as well as expertise in activating across platforms," said Lee. "I have no doubt he is going to be an invaluable addition to our team."

    Devon MacDonald was named chief strategy officer of Mindshare Canada. MacDonald will lead the Communications Planning group, where he will work with client teams to drive strategic planning for brands like Kimberly-Clark, Tim Horton's and American Express. He joins the agency from leading 360i, where he served as managing director for the Toronto office. While there, he led the office from its launch in 2013, growing staff, driving new business, and leading client work. Prior to that, he was vice president of engagement planning for DentsuBos, where he led the planning and strategy team. MacDonald will report to Karen Nayler, CEO of Mindshare Canada.

    CP+B hired Eric Zuncic as chief strategy officer, charged with leading the consumer, culture and business strategy practice and developing the North American planning toolkit. Zuncic will be based in Boulder, and work with all three U.S. offices: Miami, Boulder and Los Angeles. He will work in partnership with Jason De Turris, chief strategy officer, international, who relocated to Hong Kong earlier this year to oversee global strategy on Infiniti, and to open CP+B's Hong Kong office. Zuncic joins the agency from Mekanism, where he was head of strategy, responsible for growing the research, strategy, planning, innovation and analytics capabilities and leading new business. Prior to that, he was the director of strategy and innovation at The Brand Union, managing global strategy for GSK Consumer Healthcare, Absolut, Pernod Ricard and Time Warner Cable. He began his career at GEICO and then Unilever, working on the Dove Men + Care brand. "What initially drew us to Eric is his unique, modern approach to strategy that he's cultivated through a breadth of experience, ranging from a deep understanding and expertise in data and analytics, to lead strategy roles on both the client and agency side," said Lori Senecal, global CEO of CP+B. "This depth and versatility allow him to think boldly and inventively across business strategy, brand strategy and communications strategy to identify the highest impact opportunities for our clients."

Powers will be based in Epsilon's Wilton, CT office. At Epsilon, he will focus on growing the company's retail and consumer packaged goods verticals as well as agency delivery. Prior to Epsilon, Powers was managing director of Moxie New York. Before that, he held senior account management roles at Digitas, Modem Media and DDB, working with brands in the financial services, consumer electronics, information technology and telecommunications categories.
