  • Britt Hayes
    DDB North America
    DDB North America named Britt Hayes as chief people officer. A new position, Hayes will work with leaders from the network's 17 North American offices to oversee all talent and development programs, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and recruitment for the agency. She reports to Wendy Clark, chief executive officer.

    Hayes joins the agency from Grey Group, where she managed creative talent and operations for the network's New York office as executive director, creative management. Prior to that, she was worldwide head of creative talent at J. Walter Thompson.

    Hayes also spent 12 years at McCann as senior vice president/director of creative services, where she was responsible for managing the creative department and recruiting across McCann Worldgroup in San Francisco, including McCann Erickson, T.A.G., and MRM.

  • Joao Coutinho
    Y&R New York
    Y&R New York named Joao Coutinho as North America executive creative director. Coutinho will report to Y&R North America chief creative officer Leslie Sims. The pair will work together to oversee the creative vision for key accounts and contribute to new business opportunities.

    Coutinho joins the agency from Grey New York, where he served as group creative director, working on Volvo, Canon, Clairol, Bosch, and P&G. He also served as creative lead at Ogilvy Brazil and prior to that served as executive creative director at Lowe Lisbon and head of art at JWT Lisbon.

  • Jeff Geisler
    MING Utility and Entertainment Group
    MING Utility and Entertainment Group tapped Jeff Geisler as president. He most recently served as global chief marketing officer for Saatchi & Saatchi. Before that, he worked as chief marketing officer for Jay-Z's Roc Nation, handling both music and sports properties.

    Prior to that, Geisler spent seven years as head of business leadership at McCann New York, where he ran client service for clients such as Verizon, Mastercard, General Mills and Unilever.

    Geisler and Linus Karlsson, chairman and chief creative officer of Ming, worked at McCann for nearly three years when Karlsson served as chairman and chief creative officer of McCann New York and McCann London.

    "As we're steering even more deliberately towards design, music and film experiences by brands and less ad-making stuff, Jeff, with his unique experience, is great fit to run the company," said Karlsson. "Jeff understands creative, strategy, media, technology, design and how to operate, innovate and be successful in this space."

  • Chloe Gottlieb, Taras Wayner, Genevieve Hoey, Megan Skelly, Steve Wakelam, Nick Pringle and Adam Reeve

    R/GA promoted two in its US Creative department and made a series of hires across offices and departments.

    Chloe Gottlieb and Taras Wayner were promoted to joint chief creative officers, US. They will continue to report to Nick Law, vice chairman, global chief creative officer.

    R/GA New York hired a series of senior group executive creative director, beginning with Genevieve Hoey, who joins the agency from Wieden + Kennedy. Hoey will partner with experience lead Una Walsh to lead creative for Nike. Megan Skelly joins from 360i to partner with Erin Lynch on Verizon, and Steve Wakelam & Nick Pringle will lead creative for the agency's Samsung US and Mercedes-Benz US work, in collaboration with Gaurabh Mathure.

    R/GA San Francisco hired Adam Reeves as executive creative director to partner with Paulo Melchiori, senior vice president, executive creative director. Reeves previously worked at twofifteenmccann, where he led creative for Xbox, Hulu  and Pandora.

  • Jeff Bossin, Michael Everard, Kelly Kliebe, Lori Martin, Marius Gedgaudas, Gabriel Gama, Guilherme Grossi and Alvaro Soto
    Innocean
    Innocean expanded its creative with a series of hires and promotions.

    Jeff Bossin joined the agency as vice president, group creative director from Deutsch LA, where he worked on Target, Zillow, PlayStation and Real California Milk. In his new role, Bossin will be responsible for developing and overseeing national campaigns for Hyundai.

    Michael Everard, as vice president, group creative director, will co-manage the Hyundai Dealer business.

    Kelly Kliebe returns to Innocean as vice president, group creative director from The Garage Team Mazda and has previously worked at Saatchi & Saatchi, on Mazda, Toyota, National Geographic, Sony, and Charles Schwab. In his new role, he will work directly on the Genesis account.

    Lori Martin was promoted to creative director and will focus on digital work for Hyundai.

    Marius Gedgaudas joins the agency as a design director, who most recently worked at Ignited. He has worked with brands like Target, Levis, DirecTV, Dr. Pepper, PlayStation, Taco Bell, and MTV, to name a few.

    Gabriel Gama, art director, and Guilherme Grossi, copywriter, join the agency from TBWA / Raad, Dubai.

    Lastly, Alvaro Soto, senior copywriter, joins the agency from McCann Peru. He has worked on LAN Airlines, Ducati, and Coca-Cola.
