Pepto-Bismol Sends King of Eating On The Road

Start stuffing. P&G's Pepto-Bismol, which the gustatorily inclined may remember was sponsor of the Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest at Coney Island recently, is taking world-famous eater and champion of the event, Joey Chestnut, on the road.

Pepto-Bismol will host eating competitions between Chestnut and a team of five challengers on the main stages of local food festivals around the country, including "Bite of Oregon," "Austin Ice Cream Festival," "San Francisco Street Food Festival," and "Buffalo Wing Festival."

The team of challengers will win the "Pepto Cup" trophy, a year's supply of Pepto-Bismol and $100 each. The company says there will be Pepto-Bismol booths at the local festivals where people can enter for a chance to take on Chestnut, who will be there to egg on the challengers and give training secrets.
