Each station home page is now dominated by a new large video flash player. ABC sites now offer up more local stories on the home page than in the past. All of ABC's 10 owned-and-operated stations started up their respective new Internet destinations on Monday.
New to the Web sites are dashboard-style control panels where viewers can navigate with ease. Some of the video players' components are similar to the video player on abc.com, where the network streams its shows. WorldNow, a company that constructs sites for stations, was key in developing the new video component for the ABC stations.
