    Starcom MediaVest Group was named today by Coca-Cola to handle its U.S. media planning and buying account. The account is estimated at $350 million.
  • Procter & Gamble
    Leo Burnett
    Leo Burnett will handle Procter and Gamble's global Wella Haircare account.
  • Cotton
    DDB
    Cotton Inc. has named DDB as its new advertising agency. The agency beat Publicis, Lowe and Ogilvy & Mather/New York. DDB will develop an integrated media campaign that will include television, print, the Internet and sales promotions. Spending is estimated at more than $20 million.
  • AOL
    In Review
    America Online has sent out Request for Proposals for both its media and interactive creative account. The combined accounts are estimated at $55 million.
  • Shell Oil Brands
    Initiative
    SOPUS Products, a subsidiary of Shell Oil Company, has awarded Initiative planning and buying and media research duties for five brands. The new accounts include Black Magic, FixAFlat, Gumout, Rainx and The Outlaw. Research and media planning will begin immediately, and media buying will begin in 2004. GSD&M of Austin, Texas, previously handled the account.

    Questus has landed American Suzuki Motorcycles' interactive account. The scope of work will be a complete redevelopment of suzukicycles.com.

    Boelter + Lincoln has been named agency of record for eCare Solutions, Inc. Boelter + Lincoln will provide advertising, and marketing services as part of an integrated campaign to promote the launch of eHealthConnect, an Internet-based health risk management tool.
