    Starcom has pulled out of America Online's $200 million offline media account pitch, citing a potential conflict with another one of the agency's clients, Walt Disney Co. Carat and Initiative Media are the remaining agencies in contention.

    Horizon Media has been awarded all media planning and buying responsibilities for KNBC-TV, NBC’s owned and operated station. Since 1998, Horizon’s West Coast office has been working with KNBC, buying mostly spot radio, and sharing media responsibilities with Initiative Media and Revolution Media. The account will continue to be serviced out of Horizon’s West Coast office.
