    Chiquita Brands International has named Dallas-based Dieste Harmel & Partners as its agency of record for the U.S. Hispanic market. Dieste Harmel will be responsible for developing and executing an integrated marketing campaign to U.S. Hispanics. Spending was not disclosed.

    MapQuest has hired TBWA\Chiat\Day, Los Angeles, to create a branding campaign that will launch in the first half of 2005. TBWA\Chiat\Day will be the agency of record for the map-making Web site. Spending was not disclosed.

    Merkley + Partners
    Arby's has named Merkley + Partners as the company's national creative agency of record. The search was administered by Wanamaker Associates, an Atlanta-based advertising search firm. Doner, which handled the Arby's account since 1987, declined to participate in the creative review, but will continue to be the agency of record for the 30 co-ops they currently represent. The account is estimated at $15 million.

    After a three-month review involving eight agencies, SFGT, Philadelphia, has been named agency of record for the 2005 Philadelphia International Auto Show and Black Tie Tailgate Preview Gala, produced by The Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia. Media will be handled in partnership with MayoSeitz Media, Blue Bell, Pa. An undisclosed budget will go to TV, radio, print, and out of home.
