    Carat Affiliates
    Carat Affiliates, a division of Carat North America, has secured planning and buying assignments for Sean John & Bad Boy and the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority in Mexico and Canada. Carat Affiliates will work with Sean John & Bad Boy to highlight apparel and will partner with the R&R agency, based in Las Vegas, for the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority work. Spending was not revealed.

    Levitra has named Saatchi & Saatchi Consumer Healthcare as its agency of record. The agency beat out BBDO Worldwide and Merkley & Partners, both New York, for the estimated $90 million account. The Quantum Group previously handled the account.

    Charles Schwab has named Euro RSCG as its agency of record. Euro RSCG New York will handle Schwab's national brand and retail advertising account, with a new campaign planned for early 2005. The account is estimated at $100 million.

    After a six-month review, Consolidated Shoe Co. out of Lynchburg, Va., has named Republik, Durham, N.C., as its agency of record; it will be responsible for all brands. Other review participants included Jennings & Co., Prototype Advertising, Webb Graphics, and the incumbent, Letween Marketing Group. A $2.5 million budget will go to trade and consumer print, trade show, and logo design.
