    The Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company has consolidated its estimated $150 million U.S. media planning and buying account with Mindshare. The agency bested incumbent OMD and MediaCom for the win.
  • The ABC Television Network and ABC Family
    Wieden + Kennedy
    The ABC Television Network and ABC Family have named Wieden + Kennedy New York to handle their media planning and buying accounts. OMD Los Angeles previously handled the accounts. The assignment includes media planning and buying for the Entertainment, News, Daytime and Late Night dayparts of the ABC Television Network, and all planning and buying for the ABC Family cable channel. The account is estimated at $80 million.

    Doritos has placed its $30 million advertising account in review. Incumbent BBDO will defend against DDB Worldwide, GSD&M, and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.

    Chili's has placed its $2 million interactive account in review. Incumbent GSD&M will face off against Avenue A/Razorfish.
  • Alltel
    Campbell-Ewald
    Alltel has awarded Campbell-Ewald its digital marketing initiatives. The agency is currently Alltel's brand agency of record. In addition, Campbell-Ewald is now responsible for Alltel's consumer Web sites. The agency will also handle online marketing, search engine optimization, and digital and interactive projects.

The assignment will begin with creative development and media planning and buying. The account is worth several million dollars.

    LATINTHRE3 was selected by Lexicon Marketing to redesign and launch its Web sites.
  • Starwood Hotels & Resorts
    MediaVest USA and Deutsch
    Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has tasked MediaVest USA to handle its offline media planning and buying. The assignment will be handled out of MediaVest's New York office. In addition, Starwood has expanded its relationship with Deutsch, which currently handles creative duties for the Sheraton and Westin brands, having awarded the agency its Sheraton.com business. Avenue A/Razorfish will continue to handle Starwood's online advertising and media planning. The account is valued at $50 million.

    McAfee has selected Just Media as its global corporate media buying and planning agency of record, following a review. Grey San Francisco will retain creative duties for McAfee.

    Banana Republic has named aR Media as its creative agency of record. Goodby, Silverstein and Partners previously handled the work.
