    Amalgamated
    Inverness Medical Innovations has selected Amalgamated as the global agency of record for its Clearblue Easy brand. The agency is charged with repositioning the brand across all markets where Clearblue products are sold. The account is valued at $10 million. Global TV and print ads will launch this summer and introduce a new Clearblue Easy product. The agency bested Mother for the work. RJ Palmer will be handling media chores.

    Universal Studios Hollywood has placed its $7 million advertising account in review. The Cimarron Group currently handles the work and will defend the account against davidandgoliath, Secret Weapon Marketing and BBDO Worldwide.

    B.F. Goodrich has narrowed the number of agencies competing for its $20 million advertising account down to three: The Martin Agency, Carmichael Lynch, and The Richards Group.

    Sara Lee has placed its Hillshire Farms and Sara Lee deli and bakery brands in review in an effort to consolidate creative duties. The accounts have a combined estimate of $60 million. Element 79 and Publicis currently handle the work and will compete against TBWA/Chiat/Day for the accounts.

    Timex has awarded PHD its media buying and planning account, valued at $12 million. The Media Kitchen previously handled the work.

    Minor league baseball team the Joliet Jackhammers has named Esrock Partners as its advertising and promotional agency.

    WONGDOODY
    WONGDOODY has been selected to handle national and regional print advertising, promotions, design and branding for Red Lion Hotels. The account is estimated at $5 million. ISM Advertising in Boston previously handled the account. Creative launches in the summer.

    Macy's
    WhiteSpace, a division of kirshenbaum bond + partners, has been awarded a strategic branding assignment from Macy's Corporate Marketing, the marketing division of Macy's.

    Dow Chemical has consolidated its $30 million advertising and marketing account at a group of IPG agencies that includes Foote Cone & Belding and Golin/Harris.
