  • Coca-Cola
    AKQA
    AKQA has won Coca-Cola's global football portal assignment. The agency will design and build a site that will act as the hub for all Coca-Cola related football content for 2007 and beyond.
  • Mercedes-Benz
    BBDO
    Mercedes-Benz is realigning its agency relationships for 2007. BBDO will handle Mercedes business in all markets around the world, excluding those where existing agency relationships are present. The agency currently handles Mercedes work in France and Spain. Jung von Matt will become the lead agency for Mercedes-Benz in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Earlier this year, Mercedes-Benz awarded its European C-Class assignment to BBDO.

    Bayer has placed media planning and buying work for its U.S. consumer-care division, estimated at $200 million, in review. OMD and Initiative currently handle the work.
  • BearingPoint
    Renegade Marketing Group
    BearingPoint, a management and technology consulting firm, selected Renegade Marketing Group to manage its global marketing account, estimated at more than $10 million. The agency is charged with creating an integrated global campaign.
  • E-Z-GO
    TM Advertising
    E-Z-GO, manufacturer of a top selling golf car, has awarded its brand advertising account to TM Advertising without a review. The account was previously handled by Georgia-based Match, Inc. TM will handle brand advertising, online work, and media planning and buying. The agency's first assignment will be to develop a new creative platform, branding campaign and redesigned Web site scheduled to launch early next year.

    The International Olympic Committee has narrowed its search for an agency to handle its $120 million advertising account down to four: Havas Sport, Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi and United.

    Crispin Porter + Bogusky has picked up branding chores for Best Buy's Geek Squad brand.
  • Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority
    Brokaw
    Brokaw has been awarded a three-year contract with two 1-year extension options as agency of record for the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, following a review. Brokaw, RTA's agency of record since 2001, will continue to handle creative development, branding and promotional work.

    Panasonic has awarded StrawberryFrog its estimated $75 million pan-European advertising account.
  • Drive Insurance
    Carmichael Lynch
    Carmichael Lynch has been awarded the $20 million Drive Insurance account, part of the Progressive Insurance brand. Grey Worldwide previously handled the work.
  • Circuit City
    Euro RSCG
    Euro RSCG has been tapped to handle creative duties for Circuit City's $300 million advertising account.
  • The Washington Nationals
    White & Partners
    The Washington Nationals has awarded its 2007 advertising account to White & Partners, Herndon, VA. Spending was not released.
  • Arrow International
    VIA Group
    The VIA Group has been named agency of record for Arrow International, provider of central venous catheter products. The account will be serviced out of the agency's Portland office. Billings were undisclosed.
  • NYC Tourism

    BBH has been awarded the $20 million New City Tourism account. The agency bested Lowe for the win.
