    Following the removal of executives Julie Roehm and Sean Womack, Wal-Mart is reopening its whopping $580 million creative review. DraftFCB, the agency that recently won the account, will not participate in the new review. Carat will be allowed to participate in Wal-Mart's media review.

    In Review
    Volvo has placed its global creative account, estimated at $150 million, in review. Euro RSCG Worldwide currently handles the account.
  • Pharmavite
    RPA
    Pharmavite has named RPA as its agency of record to handle all strategic planning, creative and media planning and buying for its new whole soy and real fruit nutrition snack bar, SOYJOY. The agency will develop a campaign consisting of TV, print, outdoor, online, search and Web site components.

    ConAgra's media buying and planning account, valued at $425 million, will remain with incumbent MediaCom.

    Luxottica Retail has awarded Arnold creative duties on its Pearle Vision account, estimated at $12 million.

    Crown Imports has named Casanova Pendrill Integrated Hispanic Communications as its Hispanic agency of record for the company's three principal brands: Corona Extra, Corona Light, and Modelo Especial. The agency will handle strategic planning, creative development, production, media buying, promotions and public relations. The account is estimated at $15 million.

    Ripple Effects Interactive has won several new clients, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children; the Washington, DC Convention and Tourism Corporation, Williamsburg Area Destination Marketing Committee, Pennsylvania Dutch Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the Pennsylvania Wilds Tourism Marketing Corporation.

    Godiva Chocolatier has moved its global creative account, estimated at $10 million, from Margeotes Fertitta Powell to SugarTown Creative.

    Empower MediaMarketing, Cincinnati has been assigned media planning and buying duties for Mederma and Mederma for Kids, scar treatments marketed by Merz Pharmaceuticals. Mederma's media plan includes magazines, television and interactive work.

    Young & Rubicam Brands has scored International chores on Callaway Golf, Hilton Hotels and Land Rover, three of its current accounts.

    MediaHUB, Mullen's media and analytics group, has won consolidated media buying responsibilities for the IAC/InterActiveCorp brands Ask.com, Match.com, Gifts.com and LendingTree following a review. MediaHUB was the incumbent media planning and buying agency on Match.com, LendingTree and Gifts.com, and has now added the Ask.com buying responsibilities.

    GoDaddy.com has named Shine Advertising Co. as its advertising agency of record, following a two-month review that included Shine and shops from both New York and Los Angeles. The agency will be responsible for strategic planning, traditional advertising, Web development, and viral marketing. Spending was not released. Initial work will include new TV spots for Super Bowl XLI.

    Rocketshop has been named agency of record for Camas, Washington-based Sharp Microelectronics of the Americas. The agency is charged with developing and implementing marketing and public relations strategies, with a focus on SMA's LCD division, optoelectronics, imaging and RF/IR component divisions.

    TAXI New York has been named by Coors Brewing Company as agency of record for two of its U.S. brands, Killian's Irish Red and Molson Canadian.
