    Hewlett-Packard awarded Omnicom Media Group its $1 billion global media buying and planning account, which spans four HP units: Corporate, Personal Systems Group, Image and Printing Group and Technology Solutions Group. ZenithOptimedia previously handled the account.
  • Time Warner Cable
    OMD
    OMD picked up Time Warner Cable's consolidated in-house and regional media account.
  • AAMCO
    Qorvis
    AAMCO tapped Qorvis as its agency of record. The agency will lead all creative development for AAMCO's television and radio advertising, interactive marketing and public relations. The $20 million campaign, slated to launch in April, will aim to raise awareness, enhance trust with car care customers and build market share for AAMCO.

    Colle+McVoy was named agency of record for Caribou Coffee. The agency will handle brand identity, package design, interactive, advertising and promotions.

    Bartle Bogle Hegarty was awarded creative duties on the $20 million Sprite account.

    The advertising portion of the Villeroy & Boch Bath and Wellness Division was awarded to Rieches Baird. Hank Blank conducted the review. Echo Media Group was awarded the public relations account.
  • TransCash Corporation
    alPunto
    TransCash Corporation selected alPunto as its Hispanic agency of record for the TransCash USA Card launch program. The assignment includes strategic planning, creative development, media planning and buying, promotions, retail programs and business-to-business efforts.

    The Republik
    BusterSports.com named The Republik as its first advertising agency of record. An initial budget of under $1 million will go to brand development and online content creation, with first work, a site relaunch, breaking in March.
  • Fathead
    Cenergy
    Fathead hired Cenergy on a project basis to provide services including event marketing and interactive applications for the launch of Fathead Tradeables to MLB baseball clubs this season. The budget was not released. Fathead is no longer working with its former agency, Wieden + Kennedy, NY.

    Kelliher Samets Volk
    Kelliher Samets Volk was named agency of record by Webster Bank. The account, previously managed by Avrett Free Ginsburg in New York, was awarded after a review of more than 30 agencies in New England and New York City. KSV will also handle all digital work and media planning and buying. Media was previously handled by Horizon Media in New York. The account is estimated at $2 million.
