    Hyundai Kia placed its media planning and buying account in review in numerous overseas markets, including Europe and parts of Asia and South America. The U.S. account is unaffected.
  • Bayer
    In Review
    Bayer AG launched a review in an effort to consolidate its $1 billion advertising account at one holding company.
  • Nationwide Insurance
    Universal McCann
    Nationwide is keeping Universal McCann as its media buying agency of record following a review. The agency has worked with Nationwide since 2001. In addition to Universal McCann's previous media buying duties, which included national and spot TV and radio, the agency will now also handle print and out of home media. McKinney, Nationwide's creative agency of record, will continue to handle creative and media planning. The account is estimated at $200 million.

    Universal McCann was awarded Charles Schwab's $100 million media planning and buying account. PHD previously handled the account.
  • Corona Extra and Modelo Especial
    La Comunidad
    Crown Imports named La Comunidad as its Hispanic agency of record for Corona Extra and Modelo Especial. The agency will lead all strategic planning, creative development and production for the brands.
  • Johnny Rockets

    The Johnny Rockets Group selected incumbent Northten to remain its agency of record, following a review.
  • Waterford, Wedgwood and Royal Doulton
    In Review
    Cossette, Gotham and The Kaplan Thaler Group are the three agencies vying for global creative and media duties on Waterford, Wedgwood and Royal Doulton brands.
  • California Tobacco Control Program
    RPA
    RPA was awarded the California Department of Public Health's Tobacco Control Program account, previously handled by Ground Zero.
  • McDonald's
    Moroch
    Moroch has added another McDonald's co-op, this time in Wausau, Wisconsin, to its roster of clients. The scope of work includes strategic planning, development of creative and media buying and planning. Moroch will handle the assignment from its Milwaukee office.

    R&R Partners was awarded a corporate brand identity development project for Allegiant Air, which will unite the Allegiant, Allegiant Travel, Allegiant Air and Allegiant Vacation brands under one logo and tagline, positioning them as a complete travel company. Spending was not released.
  • Women's Oncology Research and Development
    Publicis Indianapolis
    The Women's Oncology Research and Development, a nonprofit organization that helps women defeat gynecological cancers, selected Publicis to develop an educational outreach program.
