  • Opel/Vauxhall
    Amsterdam Worldwide
    Amsterdam Worldwide was appointed by Opel/Vauxhall to launch the Opel Meriva across Europe. The agency bested McCann-Erickson, Lowe London and DLKW for the win. The account is estimated at $100 million.
  • TD Bank
    Tierney
    Tierney was named media agency of record for TD Bank, besting MediaCom, Carat, and ZenithOptimedia for the $25 million account. Tierney is also TD Bank's creative agency of record, and had been handling media on a provisional basis since the September 2008 merger of TD Banknorth and Tierney's former client, Commerce Bank.
  • Cumberland Packing Corp.
    In review
    Cumberland Packing Corp., manufacturer of brands such as Sweet 'N Low, Sugar in the Raw and Butter Buds, launched a creative and media review for all of the company's brands. Incumbent Pedone will not defend.

    OMD was awarded Virgin Atlantic's $30 million global media account.
  • Florida Lottery
    St. John & Partners
    The Florida Lottery tapped St. John & Partners as its general market advertising agency, following a review. The agency will be responsible for general market creative and media chores. The annual budget is $23 million. The contract lasts for three years with the option for an additional three-year renewal.

    Leo Burnett
    AOL tapped Leo Burnett to create a rebranding campaign.
  • Dixie Bones
    The Republik
    Dixie Bones barbecue named The Republik as its first agency of record, charged with expanding the brand. Previous advertising was handled on a project basis by local agencies. The Republik will handle social media marketing, online and search engine optimization duties.

    Mile 9
    Mile 9 has been hired by Rosa Mexicano Restaurants as agency of record. Mile 9 will handle creative and media duties.
