    Carat was awarded Diageo's U.S. media account, estimated at $130 million. MediaCom previously handled the work.
  • Emergen-C
    Walrus
    Alacer Corp, maker of Emergen-C vitamin drink mix, tapped Walrus as Emergen-C's social media agency. The account was awarded after a review. Walrus will develop a series of integrated social media campaigns on platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.

    MEC Philippines
    MEC Philippines was tapped to handle Pfizer's online and offline media planning and buying. The assignment includes Centrum, Stresstabs, Clusivol, Robitussin, Advil, Dimetapp, Caltrate, Loviscol, Fibrosine and Chapstick brands.

    Leo Burnett, Razorfish and Zenith Media
    Leo Burnett, Razorfish and Zenith Media were awarded branding, digital work and traditional media chores, respectively, on Travelocity's $70 million advertising account.

    Sonic placed its creative and media account in review. Barkley currently handles the work and will not defend.
  • EmblemHealth
    In review
    EmblemHealth launched a $15 million review of its branding and direct response advertising work. AAR Partners is handling the search. EmblemHealth has invited its incumbent agencies to participate in the review. Boston-based Hill Holliday has been working on the brand since 2006 and Seattle-based Hacker Group has handled direct response chores since 2001. A decision is expected by the end of the year.

    Northrop Grumman tapped mcgarrybowen to handle creative and media chores on its $30 million advertising account. McCann Erickson Los Angeles previously handled the work.
  • Communispace
    Mechanica
    Communispace hired Mechanica as its agency of record to develop and launch its new Web site. Billings were not disclosed.
