  • Grocery Manufacturers Association and the Food Marketing Institute
    BBDO New York Integer, PHD, Proximity and Edelman
    The Grocery Manufacturers Association and the Food Marketing Institute tapped Edelman and BBDO New York, along with its sister companies Integer, PHD and Proximity, to develop a $50 million, 12-month consumer education campaign that will build awareness, understanding and use of the Nutrition Keys icon. The campaign will educate consumers through a variety of communications channels, including point-of-purchase strategies, advertising and digital/social media.

    T3 was named creative agency of record for the Hotwire Group's Travel-Ticker and CarRentals.com brands. T3 will be responsible for the creation of online advertising campaigns across the two brands.

    CIGNA named Hill Holliday as its advertising agency of record. Billings were not released.
  • Hennessy

    Hennessy tapped Droga5 to handle creative chores on its estimated $10 million advertising account. Berlin Cameron United previously handled the work.

    Y&R has been named the agency of record for Dave & Buster's. The account will be driven by Y&R Chicago. The agency will handle all aspects of Dave & Buster's creative work, and MediaCom, a sibling company in the WPP network, will handle national media planning and buying. The first advertising is scheduled to launch in the summer.

    Front Burner Brands, a restaurant management company with concepts including The Melting Pot Restaurants, GrillSmith Restaurants and Burger 21, named Red Tettemer + Partners as its national agency of record for all brands.

    Mullen's North Carolina office was named agency of record for 24-hour preschool television channel, Sprout. The agency will handle mobile, print, TV, direct marketing and event support.
  • Colorado Spirits Corp.
    LeeReedy/Xylem Digital
    Colorado Spirits Corp. named LeeReedy/Xylem Digital as its first advertising agency of record. Capitalized billings are $3.8 million. LeeReedy will also take a minority stake in the company. The initial assignment is the relaunch of Colorado Premium Vodka, inactive for the last three years. A brand overhaul and bottle redesign will break this summer, via print, digital advertising and event marketing.

    RJ Palmer
    Prestige Brands Holdings Incorporated has hired RJ Palmer to handle its local and national media buying duties. The consumer goods company markets brands such as Luden's, Clear Eyes, PediaCare and Efferdent. Creative and planning is handled by the VIA group in Portland, Maine.

    Pernod Ricard has named Amsterdam Worldwide to handle global digital work for its Olmeca Tequila brand. The agency is charged with all aspects of digital and mobile strategy, as well as creative execution for the entire Olmeca portfolio - which also includes the Altos, Tezón and Fusion brands.
