    Beiersdorf named MEC to handle its media account covering brands including Nivea, Elastoplast and Eucerin. The agency will be tasked with media duties in UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland. Beiersdorf’s account was previously handled by Carat, which retains the business in France and Germany.

    MediaVest USA was named media agency of record for The Travelers Companies. The appointment will include planning and buying, as well as content, data and analytics solutions for all Travelers’ lines of business, including Personal Insurance and Business Insurance.

    Partners + Napier

    Partners + Napier was tapped to handle marketing duties for Mederma, a scar and stretch mark product. Incumbent agency Arnold Worldwide did not participate in the review. Projected media spend for Mederma is estimated at more than $10 million.

    Squaw Valley Ski Resort tapped MeringCarson to develop a new campaign for the upcoming season and Squaw Valley’s new resort partnership with Alpine Meadows. New work is expected to break in October.
