Chicago Tribune Media Group plans to freeze non-union employees' salaries, per
Crain's. The group includes the
Chicago Tribune, its Web site,
RedEye,
Hoy and
Chicago
Magazine. Last week, the
Chicago Tribune axed 20 editorial staffers, including two Pulitzer Prize winners. The Tribune also owns the
Los Angeles Times and
Baltimore Sun.
