Online video company Plymedia on Monday launched a new tool for Web publishers to superimpose interactive contextual information on videos, and contextually link stories to their
archives.
ProPly is a self-managed tool to keep costs down and give publishers full editorial control over their projects. Information overlay options, featured with the tool, are
designed to promote video content and increase interaction with viewers.
Publishers can create screen overlays--or use Plymedia's customizable overlay templates--that link to additional internal
content, or other Web information of interest to the viewer. In addition, analytical feedback of users' interaction on the video screen in response to various overlays is provided by Plymedia.

privately funded startup, Plymedia is headquartered in the U.S. with R&D facilities in Israel.--Gavin O'Malley
