April event showers bring May... smartypants....right? Our official event focused Twitter account, @MediaPostLive, has been updating our followers on deals and info pieces, but sometimes, because we've got so many things happening in April, it's easy to get overwhelmed, confused, or buried. We have been promoting hashtag (word snippets calling out a topic or conversation thread) usage in conjunction with Twitter at our events so you can find each other via search before and after the event and follow new people interested in the same subjects as you. It's all about building out the ole network right? So let's have it, tag along with us!

April 22, 2009: Digital Out of Home Forum and Expo: slap the hashtag #mpdooh into your tweets April 22, 2009: Digital Out of Home Awards: use #mpdoohawards if you're tweeting in between cocktails and balls of meat April 28, 2009: MediaPost's Media Magazine Outfront Conference: Broadcast #mpoutfront with your tweets from the Princeton club April 29, 2009: OMMA Mobile: Tweeting from your device? Pop #ommamobile in there.

While you're paying close attention to the shows you're attending, you can pop over to search.twitter.com, slap the hashtag of the day into the search field, click the search button, and uncover other Twitter addicted event attendees!
