For those wishing to play the lottery for free, Daniel Bader might have the answer. The company's CEO said the business model for myfreelotterypool.com relies on advertisers to foot the bill for tickets, allowing consumers to play at no charge.

The site has already attracted people worldwide, from the U.S. to Europe to the Middle East, but Bader wants more. The Internet startup is advertising on a billboard in New York's Times Square to expand its reach.

The site, which lets consumers play the lottery for free, has rented time on the electronic sign to attract people from around the globe. The billboard promo will run three times per hour during an 18-hour day for three months. Keera Nevins, creative director at Neutron Media, said more Internet companies have taken to the "screen" within the last year to diversify ad campaigns.--Laurie Sullivan
