The Funny Thing About The Kindle (But The New York Times Isn’t Laughing About It)

Rob Griffin has an interesting sense of humor. And it’s definitely not the same kind that runs through the New York Times’ digital group.

Griffin recently met with the group, and they told him that they have done a calculation concluding that they can buy every New York Times newspaper subscriber an Amazon Kindle digital reader, “cheaper than it costs to produce and distribute them a newspaper for a year.”

Griffin thought that was funny. To me, it just sounds logical.
